If there's one place that makes hair removal a pleasant experience, it's Sweet Peach Wax & Sugaring Studio. No one knows lady grooming like Raquel Souza. The Brazilian-born beauty brought the ancient art of sugaring hair removal to Atlanta, opening the first Sweet Peach Wax & Sugaring Studio in Virginia Highlands in 2012 along with a second location in Buckhead in 2014.
Sweet Peach has attracted a loyal following, including numerous media personalities and A-list celebs. A licensed esthetician with advanced training (not to mention her Brazilian upbringing), Raquel is Atlanta's sugaring expert and had been named the Best of Atlanta in local and national publications.

Services
Sugaring, an ancient middle-eastern practice that uses an all natural paste made from sugar, water, and lemon juice to remove the hair follicle from the root. There are no wax preservatives or resin in the unique sugar paste. Sugaring is also less pain-full than waxing because the sugar adheres to only the hair, not the skin.
Sugaring is applied with the esthetician's hands directly onto the skin (they wear gloves, of course), while we use wooden sticks for our hard wax. Sugaring pulls the hair in the direction it grows (wax pulls against), so many find it to be a gentler, less painful process. Both products are warm and have a honey-like consistency.
