Services
At Glen Cove Dental Associates, we use digital x-rays, which have several advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated. Large on-screen x-rays make patient communication more effective.
The metal clasps are usually visible and usually affect the beauty of your smile. Often, there are options available to reduce or eliminate the need for visible clasps. Finally, partial dentures can be designed to allow for the future loss of teeth that may not be as healthy as the rest. Alternatives to partial dentures include bridges, implants, and, occasionally, full dentures.

From the moment I walked in the door of Glen Cove Dental Associates I was treated with great respect in a very welcoming and professional atmosphere. A health screening process, masked staff and hand sanitizer assured me of safety protocols in place. My initial contacts and cleaning all went well. Knowing of a broken filling that needed repair and another old filling that was showing signs of deterioration, I had the two scheduled to be completed on one morning. I started looking for a different dentist when my dentists dropped out of the Delta Network, and their prices suddenly seemed higher. They were a really great dentist office and I was very satisfied, but living on a limited budget, I had to think about cost. So I tried Glen Cove Dental, at the recommendation of a friend, and couldn't be happier. I had a small dental problem, and it was fixed the same day, with tons of information on my teeth and different procedures. Dr. Lim was very gentle and informative. Great staff too!

This is a very clean, comfortable, warm and inviting facility. Everyone here are fantastic! They are knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and helpful. My children see Dr. Campbell and she is very warm and patient! The location is easily accessible and convenient. I love their text message appt reminders.

I started with Glen Cove Dental/Dr. Hersom in Jan. '16 after my dentist closed his practice. I am very grateful and glad that I followed recommendations given (and my Hygienist) to this office.
I was unhappy with my smile and aging teeth. My previous dentist recommended porcelain crowns which I did not pursue at the time. Dr. Hersom recommended a more conservative approach of composite fillings (and substantially less $). By Sept. '16, I am so very pleased and proud not only of the excellent work that was done, but of the "New Me and Smile". The before and after results are amazing!!!
