I think it's pretty ironic that her website says she's "for the children" but yet defending a female defendant that is being charged with DUI GROSS VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER of her own son. Then down plays it by saying "it's just a misdemeanor ". Schwartz did absolutely nothing for her in preliminary, defendant has been denying all charges against her and Schwartz says in preliminary there's no doubt that defendant was drunk...and I'm not mad, just saying.

I wish I could give "no stars". I agree 100% with the other review that gave this office 1 star. They have no heart and no compassion. This is just a paycheck for them. I threw away $20K to this office. then the attorney requested that I release her of being my counsel because I could not fork out another $6K for the last hearing which was at that time scheduled 6 months away. I had one last hearing date and I was left to represent myself because I could not pay them in March 2021 for a trial date scheduled in August 2021. I asked if they could give me some time to gather what I needed

Court is officially over and they are charging me an extra $900 for "representation" I never received. I signed a waiver stating I could no longer afford their "services", the next day a woman who I never spoke with walked up to me in court asking me to resign the papers, then walked into court with me (I was thinking she would represent me) and asked the judge to be dismissed. I received a $900 bill for that. Please save your $, go elsewhere. I wish I went with my original lawyer, she specializes in child custody but she actually fought for me. I took a chance and went here

My experience with Atty. Catherine Swartz was highly positive and without any second thought I would proudly recommend her. During the time when she was handling my divorce case - for the first time I felt confident thinking that she would take care of me and sure enough certainly did. Beyond satisfied with Christina Godbey. She is attentive and focused. She was my attorney but you just get good vibes from the firm as a whole. Every single person in the firm is kind and helpful. 1. I was told there price for a retainer from there associate lawyer yesterday & today Catherine A. Schwartz WOULD NOT HONOR her own lawyers WORD & said she CHANGED POLICY YESTERDAY & wants double the fee for retainer 🤔
2. When I asked if she's not wanting to work with me, SHE FLAT OUT TOLD ME NO, I DONT WANT YOUR CASE.

Catherine was so very helpful and knowledgeable in our criminal case. We faced certain jail time, but Cathy understood our situation and was able to represent us in a way as to convey to the judge and DA that it would be more detrimental to be locked away. Catherine Schwartz, Christina Godbey and the rest of the Staff were all very supportive throughout the my divorce proceedings. My case was fairly complicated with child custody, support and business issues. My Ex-husband and I had tried to resolve our issues amicably before seeking legal counsel, but we were unable to do so. Family Law Court assigned Ms Christina Godbey as minor counsel for my children. At first I was leary on the fact that it was a woman and that she may be bias due to the fact my children mother have her way in court majority of the time. But boy o boy was I wrong! Catherine is always available BEFORE you retain her however after she receives your retainer she immediately becomes so busy she can't return phone calls or is never in the office! She won't or doesn't even appear to court on your behalf. She has been in practice for over 20 years and only has 6 reviews & all are positive? Sounds fishy to me, especially considering my own review was disputed 9, YES 9 times to be removed my Catherine's office! I stand by my review and would have given negative stars I would have.
