We've used both Dr. Lambert and Dr. Bloom. Both are fantastic! We had a very rare neurological disorder of the eye that Dr. Bloom diagnosed correctly and also referred us to CHOP for a second opinion, which backed up her findings. They have an outstanding practice! This is an Outstanding Practice!

Our optical shop is open by appointment only. Please navigate to our website's optical page for details on how to schedule an optical shop visit. In the meantime, we are working hard at figuring out how to make an office visit as safe as possible for all involved - patients, staff and our doctors. Eye exams present unique challenges, as they necessitate close face to face distance, and therefore are especially risky in terms of virus spread.

Horrific experience. We will not be back and recommend anyone considering to subject their child to this practice steer clear.
I'm trying to figure out what is more aggravating: the horrid experience we had at your office or the generic response you've copied/pasted to anyone's negative review. First off, please stop using "COVID Precautions" as a guise to treat your patients in a rude and irresponsible manner. The reality is that you are not fit to run a pediatric practice and should not have the power to deal with children. My 2 year old cried herself to sleep and vomited 5 times after experiencing

I was just turned away from an appointment for my son at this disgusting excuse for an ophthalmologist’s office because the office assistant they sent out to greet and “screen” us took it upon herself to diagnose my son (who is 1 year old, and in daycare) with an affirmative cold. He exhibited no signs of coughing, sneezing, hacking, or leaking of fluids from any visible cavities. All she needed to hear was that he may have a cold (mind you - it is fall, it is NJ, and he is in daycare). The office refused to see us and suggested we book another appointment. Mind you - we waited 3 MONTHS for

Wow. All I can say is thank God I read the actual reviews before I booked appointments for my children. Not only do they have terrible reviews, but they are petty enough to comment on the ones they don't like and talk badly about the patients/patients parents. Like really? How unprofessional are you. How about I'm sorry you had a bad experience, please call the office for us to settle the situation. No, you're too petty with your comments. You just proved the bad reviews to be correct. You and your staff definitely need training on how to speak, solve disputes, and write comments in a professional

My kids needed eyeglasses before they were 18months old. It was very difficult to find doctors that treat children so young. We drive over an hour to see Dr Bloom and Nicole. I had originally found an ophthalmologist that was closer to us, but when it came to getting the prescriptions filled it was a long process and the glasses stores in our city didn’t have kid brands. Dr Bloom is great with my kids, but the ability to see someone in an eyeglass shop that really understands how children wear glasses and what glasses will fit their faces was the true gem. I can walk out of an eye exam with new

Dr. Bloom is great. The Billing Manager, not so much. While disputing a bill with the office manager about coding for a refraction performed due to an eye injury I was forced to raise my voice to alleviate the Billing Manager from talking over me and cutting me off as I was trying to explain my case. And then she hung up on me. This was extremely unprofessional and inexcusable. I was told before the visit, that due to this being an injury that my insurance would cover the visit with the exception of a $20 copay. While speaking/arguing with the office manager a month after the visit, she said that

My 6yo daughter has been a patient of Dr. Lambert’s since she was 1yo. Dr. Lambert was referred by our pediatrician to open her tear duct. The procedure went off without a hitch. When my daughters preschool called to say they thought she may need glasses, we went back to Dr. Lambert.
Dr. Lambert’s temperament is perfectly suited for children. She is extremely calm and soft spoken. The office staff is very efficient and the nurse is so nice and patient. Nicole in the optical shop is totally AMAZING! She is very knowledgeable and makes your child feel confident about wearing glasses!
I highly

We visited Pediatric Eye Associates for the first time this morning, and had such a wonderful experience that I couldn't wait to get home and write a rave review.
Our 4-year-old is usually very shy with doctor/dentist appointments, to the point of sometimes having tearful meltdowns. Dr. Lambert and all the staff we encountered were all so kind, patient, and welcoming that our son felt comfortable from the start and got through the whole exam with ease. Dr. Lambert's soft spoken manner was even soothing for me as an adult as she explained all the steps of the exam so we could all be prepared.
