My experience with Dr. Tutela and staff was so wrong in so many ways, I was an emergency visit, I went there with a mask on. mind you NO ONE WAS WEARING A MASK, NOT EVENING THE DR. due the condition of my eyes, which was red and irritated, they assumed that I was a COVID PATIENT which was not true. I was asked into the hallway, questioned by the DR. and office manager in a very RUDE way. I was told that they could not see me, and to go the E.R , only because of the amount of the co pay they agreed to see me, I'm not sure if another patient complained or what, but the way it was handled was RUDE

There's a technique that doctor's offices have started to employ in recent years of overbooking appointments. I assume it's because some people have the habit of missing appointments or cancelling. I'm not one of those people, but I, (and others), have to pay the price.
I waited two months to set up an appointment with Tutela Eye Center, and followed all of the Covid-19 protocols set in place to make the appointment an easy endeavor for myself and the office. I had a fantastic experience with Tutela Eye Center. I came in for my first regular eye appointment, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The office was clean and well appointed. There was no wait and I was taken within minutes of arriving. My referral concern was addressed in full by both the technician and Dr. Tutela. Dr. Tutela was kind and thorough with his assessment. While I did not purchase new glasses, my current glasses required adjusting of the temple arms and this was done quickly and with a smile. Thanks for a great experience!
