Services
Whether your project is residential or commercial, Superior Waterproofing can provide most all your basement/foundation needs in the Chicago land area. New foundations must have an exterior coating. This helps minimize moisture from entering through the concrete foundation wall. Depending on you needs, Superior Waterproofing offers a multitude of foundation coatings.
This is a spray applied waterproof product with a percentage of polymer (latex). The presence of this polymer helps to bridge the space between foundation settlings cracks. By maintaining its flexible nature, waterproofing will provide a greater deterrent to the entrance of water than damp proofing.
The Chicago area suffers from extreme temperature changes throughout the seasons. Concrete responds to these changes through expansion and contraction. Because concrete is not dynamic it yields to these pressures by cracking. In addition, over time concrete will shrink after it is poured in place. This is due to the evaporation of the water in the concrete mixture.
Water can enter a basement foundation through settling cracks in the foundation walls/floor, tie leaks, and unsealed concrete. The entrance of water into your basement/foundation is due to the hydrostatic pressure which occurs in the soil surrounding your foundation. Water will always choose the path of least resistance.

Don’t hire this person to do your repair. We had a leak in our new basement cement. The area was a little wet. He couldn’t complete the job as understood due to the leak. But he was sarcastic and condescending to our family. Has very poor professionalism. He had little worry about our concern and left without hesitation. Again, I’m sure you can find a different company that is more professional than this individual.
