I just left more satisfied than I could have hoped for, Andrew is fantastic. After a fist time stop in to inquire about having smashed glasses repaired, I walked out 5 minutes later with them good as new. I was almost insistent that Andrew charge more for his service, however he politely declined. I will certainly be back to support a local business as impressive as Asterix.

Look...this place is the only place to go for repairs. They have a great selection of sunglasses too.. everything I go I see a pair I need, the place has turned me into the Imelda Marcos of sunglasses, it's hard To go in and NOT buy a new pair , bought four pair last year. They have repaired my sons glasses for free both times. I was so annoyed, the first time I left a twenty dollar tip. Second time I'm going back to buy another pair of sunglasses. incredible customer service. can't beat the service and selection.

I have driven by them for years and though I am pretty unobservant I noticed they repaired eye glasses. So when my glasses broke while I was cleaning them (the filament line holding the lenses in place broke) I decided to head over there to see if they could fix them. They looked pretty difficult to me to fix, and I wasn't confident they could be fixed. But to me it was "o ye of little faith" , the nice lady assured me that she could fix them and did it in about 15 minutes or less for $10. I was very happy as I was going on vacation in just a few days. I couldn't have asked

Fast and friendly eye glasses repair. I've gotten my glasses fixed here twice now - broken nose pad arm and side hinge - and both times they were ready to be picked up days earlier than expected! The repairs seem good quality and long lasting so far, so I think it's a good value. The shop assistant was very friendly and helpful. There's a huge variety of cool frames to check out too.

My daughter had broken the arm off of her fairly new glasses, and we couldn't even keep the arm taped on. We took them on a Friday at lunchtime to Asterix, and even though they were very busy, they managed to get them fixed by Friday afternoon! Such excellent customer service, and such a caring staff. I would highly recommend them!

Tim, Steven, Lisa, and the rest of the crew at Asterix took great care of me.
I had absolutely crushed my titanium frames, and after panicking and asking a variety of people what to do, the answer was unequivocal: “Call Asterix!”
So I did...and boy am I glad I did.
When I first called to describe my situation, I asked if I could text photos of the damaged frames to them, and they said “absolutely.”
After I did, I spoke to Tim, who said to bring them in, and that he could fix them.
And fix them they did!
My glasses are like new - functionally and aesthetically.

Like other reviews - none of the employees were wearing a mask inside and one needs to be very close to adjust/fit glasses.
I've been coming here for years and Tim and Steve are great, always helpful, prices are fair and they are the only ones in town that will drill into bridges to make them to fit narrow noses (hence 2 stars). However, Lisa (?) sales clerk has been rude to me on two separate occasions and this last time, in addition, made fun of the glasses I brought in. She also didn't know the business made permanent adjustments to the bridge (other than the wired nose pads) and

Lisa and the team here are really awesome. I've been twice and with all the options between here and where I live in Kenton, it's a breath of fresh air in customer service. I've gotten my glasses fixed here on referral from family, and well, excellent service and response for my community as well as medical people. I'm a vulnerable adult and I came in with another vulnerable, masked up. Lisa explained her situation and gave us and everybody else in the store the option of her putting on a mask if it made us feel more comfortable. If you can't breathe, you can't breathe

I received excellent customer service. The person I was dealing with was named Tim and he was very patient with me and we sent messages back and forth until I knew what I was getting. The eyeglasses when they returned are beautiful, even though they were falling apart when I sent them to them. I would highly recommend their service.

Great place at PoFo corner.
I was separated from my bifocals while biking and they spent an hour or so closely inspecting the pavement. After I realized that they were gone, I circled back and returned to the macadam in question The lenses had separated from the frame which, likely due to a car tire, went all to pieces. I was able to pickup the intact lenses and the frame fragments and, after searching the all-knowing Yelpiverse, found myself at Asterix.
They assured me that, given 1 hour, they would be able to provide me with a few choices of frames to choose from so off to have a coffee and
