Here is a business that's honest and would NOT screw you with any of those deceptive practices many automotive repair shops tends to do. Our 2004 Land River Discovery 2 had a wired sound coming from the engine compartment on cold starts. Whole slew of Chek engine, this and that lights were on. We took the vehicle to Tom's and they diagnosed and explained what was wrong and they even showed us the diagnostic scanner results. They fixed the issue in a couple of days. I keep going back for a reason. This time was a simple oil change, but when the hood wouldn't latch, I had to explain its an old car and the hood latch was temperamental. (It takes about 10 minutes of closing and opening the hood until it decides to lock on its own.) The techs trouble shoot'd and had the problem solved in 5 minutes, no charge.

Tom's tire always provides honest and friendly service. I went by several months ago to purchase new tires. I was told they still had several months of wear and they would check my tires again the next time I brought my car in for an oil change. I also appreciate the fact their prices are competitive.

I do not like to leave negative reviews, in fact I think this will be the first bad one from me on Yelp.
Yesterday to my unfortunate surprise, I discovered I had a flat tire. I realized that it only needed a patch up and not a new tire replacement, as confirmed by Triple A when putting air into the flat. Today I decided to go to Tom's to get the tire patched up. Before going, my boyfriend called on my behalf to make sure they offer this service and had availability at the time, to which they told us yes and to come now and even quoted us an estimated price.

New to the area and realizing I had a damaged run flat tire I looked for tire repair places near me. I first went to a large corporate style shop and was informed that they do not repair run flat tires and all they could offer is ordering a new one for close to $300! Because this was a fairly new car and the tire was in perfect condition I thought I have to check somewhere else! I stumbled upon Tom’s and was so glad I did! Mario helped me and told me they could repair my tire no problem and would have me out of there no time! 25 minutes and $35 later my tire was perfect and I was on my way home

Got my BMW Serviced and I had the best customer service from the guys here. Mario is the best. I will not take my cars anywhere else....unless BMW warranty issue. Great work, clean and inviting environment. Great conversation and they are very upfront about pricing. I had two tire issues they took care of for me as well. Great job! A new loyal customer. Easy to make appointments and great loyalty program.
I highly recommend anyone bring their car here. Foreign or domestic as they can do it all. They use recommended parts for your car and no BS.

Awesome is all I can say. I drive in with a huge screw in my tire and the assured me they could fix it. I only waited a little while, had a great conversation about football and they had me on my way. Will be back so they can fully service my BMW!! My wife had a nail in a tire, we had gone to 2 places, both said they could not fix it and we needed new tires.
We went to Tom's and talked to Victor, to ask about tires. He cam out and looked at them and said we don't
Need new tires right now. He measured how much was left and said we are good for at least 5,000 more miles.
He checked the tire pressure since the warning light was on, found one over inflated.
He adjusted the pressure.
It was so nice to get an honest opinion with no up-selling.
We will be back in 5000 miles for tires and future maintenance.

I have had sports and muscle cars for the last 15 years. Tom's is the place to get tires for those cars, get rims repaired, get brakes done. They are great. Tom is a very cool guy who will try to find you the lowest price for the parts needed for your service. These guys really take care of my cars and I go to them all the time. Great place.

I was referred to Tom's Automotive by the manufacturer of my lift kit Rough County. The service advisor attempted to over charge me for 18 hours of labor when the manufacturer only required 8-10 hours to perform the complete installation. I will never go to Tom's Automotive and do not recommend anyone to go there unless you want to be ripped off. So sad to see businesses that have served the city of Long Beach

Tom's has been working on my cars for many years. Originally at the old Signal Hill location and this one. My 300E Mercedes, 74IL BMW, and Lexus 300ES. The customer service has always been superior! Prices are right on, and you are always greeted by Tom the owner who makes sure your experience is top notch! It is wonderful to have a shop like this.

I needed a camber alignment for my car. I was recommended to come to Tom's for this service. I arrived, made and appointment for the next morning. When I arrived, I was greeted and my car was worked on right away. I was in n out in 40mins. In addition, the pricing (89.95) was great, compared to other places. Service and customer service was great would recommend. Thanks for wearing masks!
