I am a former cop. Way back in 2009, I was arrested because they say I beat a guy up. I hired Jeff to handle my case. They started with some big time charge and Jeff was able to get it dropped to "touching with the intent to harm" and I made a donation to the local Boys and Girls club for $250 and all of this went away. I have since referred him to many others and they all were happy with his performance.

Sad to have to share my experience, but when it's your first time dealing with a lawyer to me communication is the most important. Remember you sign a non-refundable agreement at the beginning for your hard earned money, but in my case Jeff went to the first pre-trial to just get the packet of information. There was no call the day of court or after I had to follow-up and ask how it went, nothing was explained and I didn't feel comfortable having him represent me if this was how communication was starting off, so I ended up switching to another lawyer again paying my money, but the communication

I just got done using Jeff Van Normans service and all I can say is that I am very pleased that i chose him. Jeff is very knowledgable and helpful and im very grateful for him and almost all of his staff. The only downfall of the Van norman firm is the secretary with the glasses and longer hair who sits closer to the entrance. This lady was very un-welcoming, short and rude every time i had to interact with her. Other then this secretary the whole firm was very welcoming and friendly and I will defiantly recommend their services to other people.
