First day at Agape Dental and I was blown away by Dr. Mapanao's attentiveness. Dr. Mapanao was very thorough with her examinations and the staff there was very kind. Kaycie, who sat in the front was very kind and welcoming. Mia, who did my cleaning, x-rays, and pictures was very kind as well. Dr. Mapanao unlike other dentists that I used to be with spends time with her patients and explains which tooth needs to be monitored and which tooth needs to be worked on.

Update... Please stay away from this place... When I went to another dentist the only tooth In my 64 Year old mouth He saw a future problem with was my new crown that I paid 1200 for with insurance. Finally fell out A couple weeks ago and had it put back in last week... He told me it wouldn't last with the way she Prepped the area for it to fit. Fell out again today which was only six days later. So will probably have to get a new crown... so glad I don't go to the dentist anymore.

Agape dental has a strange way of billing procedures. What should have been "no cost" according to my insurance was somehow $210.00 For another procedure what they quoted at $3,000 was done for $800 somewhere else with the SAME insurance. I don't know how they get these numbers. If you don't want to work with my insurance, don't take it.

Agape Dental was AWESOME!! When first calling to find a new primary care dentist they were very polite and accommodating to my particular schedule, as well as clear about their Covid protocols. During my x-rays and cleaning all of the dental assistants were very sweet and gentle, especially Bri who was a total professional. After the initial cleaning Dr. Mapanao was able to see me in a timely manner, and explain my specific dental and insurance needs in a way that was easy for anyone to understand. 10/10 experience, you ladies keep up the great work!

These people DO NOT care. Believe the bad reviews. Nearly two months ago I got a script from them to have a biopsy. I've waited for my appointment with the real doctor only to find out that I have to wait another month because AGAPE DENTAL could not be bothered to send over the request. It was requested several times. So thanks Agape dental.. waiting another month because you CAN'T BE BOTHERED is very frightening. (Of course they wanted to upsell me, do maybe they just don't see the $$ in it for them.) When I called the receptionist obviously could have not cared less.

Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating! The visit is extremely comfortable and the dentist and dental assistants have been clear with the procedures and all of information. Dr. Mapanao is extremely considerate and so is all of the staff. Kacey is hilarious, and Mia is so sweet! This is now going to be my regular dentist!

The first and foremost reason I came here is to replace a silver filling that cracked and fell out, to realize that some of my other silver fillings also cracked. Also had receding gum issues. Dr. Mapanao explained to me the difference of going through the private route vs the public, aka medical. She was very honest and I didn't feel pressured. Anyway, I chose the private route, and I'm so glad I did. Your health is a priority, it is worth spending a bit more $$ on! I did not realize how bad silver fillings are, and was disappointed that I had spent money on them in the past.:( had a

Kacey, Mia, and the Dr are all very sweet! I went in for my regular cleaning yesterday but requested a deep cleaning and the team was able to accommodate my procedure on the same day. The Dr is very knowledgeable, she explained what was going on with my teeth including the best way to rectify the problem(s) I am experiencing. I am appreciative of the staff at Agape dentist and I will be back in 3 weeks for my next procedure.

I would of given 0 stars if possible. I went in back in June to get my teeth checked out and everyone was super nice and I couldn't afford the monthly payments to get everything I needed done. So today I called and asked if I could set up an appointment to see the doctor again because my teeth are hurting bad enough that I would figure out how to make the payments some how. Well I went in and the doctor was extremely rude and talked to me like I was a little kid and was stupid. She told me I had to pay $100 to even see her or I had to wait till June of this year which is not what they told

Dr Mapanao is an amazing, intelligent, and caring doctor. After horrible experiences at other dental places, I'm so glad I found her. Her office staff especially the guy sitting behind the desk are incredibly nice and helpful as well. I had fillings done with her and I couldn't be any more happier. She answers all your questions, is very knowledgeable and makes dental visits pleasant with no pain! Definitely will go back and I highly recommend her.

Looks great from the outside. Even the girl at the front desk was the sweetest.
But oh man that dentist. So rude. Asked me a question and when I answered interrupted me and said "can I talk now?" Um.... well you just asked a question but okay? She was short with me from the moment she realized I had Medi-Cal. Literally the change was so obvious I'm shocked she even wants us "lower class" citizens in her office contaminating her perfect practice that refuses to do anything in a way that Medi-Cal will cover. She was the sweetest person for about 2 minutes until she flipped

Second,Dr.Mapanao is very thorough and knowledgeable in what she is doing. She gave me honest advice when I asked her what other things I need to do to improve my teeth. She is firm and very straight forward ( u can tell that she doesn't play games when it come to checking ur teeth).
Bottom line, if your looking for a dentist that will help u improve your teeth,come visit Agape Dental.... But if your not ready to hear the truth and you are a Lil bit sensitive

A total Scam! In fact I plan to report them as they are practicing dentistry without a license. I was just in their last week and the license hanging on the wall expired. It could just be the business license, but still when I asked about it, they tried to pull the wool over my eyes. Whats worse is they told me over the phone they would be able to do a filling and when I got their it was a hole other story. I don't usually like to put negative reviews but want everyone to know if you are looking for an honest dentist, DO NOT GO HERE. They will tell you they can do certain work with

I came to Dr. Mapanao as a self-proclaimed Dentist hater. But let me tell you, Dr. Mapanao is top notch! She's smart, funny, understanding, and she not money-hungry like previous dentist of mine. She truly does what's best for her patients. Not only is Dr. Mapanao awesome but her staff are friendly and approachable. Emilynn is the best ever. She always makes me smile, she's accommodating and explains things so well. Teresa is also so kind and remembers everything! The techs are great too. Not too pokey. :D
Overall a 6/5 experience at Dr. Mapanao office.
