Morris Plains Shoes

This is my second time purchasing a pair of boots from them. They have always made sure I was in a boot that fit and was comfortable. They have great customer service and love how I was treated when I walked in. Will always go back to them and made me a Red Wing customer for life.

I'm disappointed to update this review to note that Morris Plains Shoes no longer offers repair services.

I recently brought in my RW 405s in for a resole. The customer service was exactly what you'd expect friendly, kind and knowledgeable. When I received my resoled boots in less than two weeks I was extremely satisfied. They were returned looking as good as new. Also the laces were replaced and the boots were polished. I will shop here again. Highly recommended.

I had a wedding coming up in a few days and stopped in to have my dress shoes cleaned up, polished and possibly re-soled. I also had a pair of boots that I'd neglected and needed spruced up. Ralph did the work for me ASAP and it didn't cost me a fortune!

The store is beautiful and they carry some of the best brands available (Red Wings). I highly, highly recommend this place. I will, for sure, be back.

Patient and friendly people there, not huge collection of Red Wing heritage boots. BTW, there are parking lots across the street, for people like me who always worry about parking, you're not gonna be in trouble with that.

Not a bad place the people are cool. Small shoe selection, usually only have 1size per shoe. We went last year for our job, so my co worker and I both wear a size 12 they only had one. They had to have the truck drop it off to them. So he had to come back the next day to pick it up. It doesnt seem like a huge problem but when you work grave yard shift our time is very precious. They used to be open at 8am but they switched it to 9am, so now we have to wait 2 extra hours for them to open sense they don't have a reasonable schedule for the delivery truck to drop off at our shop.

Let me try on like 15 different combinations of boots and size and make. The man helping was very nice and knowledgeable about what boots would best fit my use case. Would absolutely go back.

The staff member was extremely helpful! Found a great New pair of gloves as well! Didn't expect that. Touch screen compatible and very sturdy! Red Wing boots are my favorite, and this store has them in spades! We'll be back soon.
There was also a really friendly dog in the store as well. Not sure if that pup is always in there, but I hope so! Unexpected selling point.

A great little old-fashioned shoe store! This is not a big-box shoe store with some high-school kid pushing sneakers. They know their products here. I buy all of my Red Wings work boots here!

Stopped in to have a bootie repaired. Super friendly and very helpful, affordable repair. Definitely recommend for any shoe care needs!

Extremely patient people here, Anthony helped me try boots & shoes from Red Wing and Rockport before I finally settled on a pair of Eccos. The focus is on work boots, you can get a pair of Iron Rangers in various colors, or steel-toed boots. For such a tiny store they have a great selection which includes dress shoes and loafers by Alan Edmonds, hiking boots from Keen and more.

Definitely not cheap, as far as I know nobody discounts Red Wing. If you're gonna pay list price anyhow, I'm a fan of getting the right size locally instead of making your feet suffer. My eccos were a few

This is a great family owned business in Morris Plains. I'm always so satisfied when I bring my shoes for repair or even when I make new purchases. I highly recommend using this business. In addition they've been in Morris Plains for over 30 years. Love these guys!

There is a difference between someone who performs a service, and someone who provides service AND customer service. The mall stores will sell you a shoe (by "sell" I mean that they will maybe measure your foot, get you the box, and ask if you want to buy it), but what I experienced today goes far beyond what I have found in any mall.
