Best salon experience I've had in 3 years. I chose to make an appointment based upon all the positive reviews. The salon is very clean and charming. The stylist are knowledgeable and very kind. My stylist was professional and very patient navigating foiling my hair while my small child sat on my lap! She didn't make any unsolicited comments upon the current state of my hair. I recently moved back to Connecticut after residing in Seattle for nearly 13 years and was searching for a comparable salon from my Seattle high end salon (paid close to $300) that could give me the bright blonde I love so much. I could not say more about Melissa at Salon H. Thankfully she was able to get me in the day I called. She is very personable. She knew exactly what I wanted and it turned out amazing. The color is perfect for my complexion. My hair is very sensitive to color and I had no breakage which was wonderful! I will be going back to her for every hair treatment and will suggest her to anyone that is looking.

I don't normally take the time for reviews but I have been a client of Salon H for some time now. Heidi and her wonderful staff are true masters at what they do. The salon is always spotless and my kids love to get a sweet treat in the reception area.
If you are looking for a change or just moved to town, give them a try. I assure you they will not disappoint!

Heidi and the girls at Salon H were amazing for my June wedding on the Connecticut coast! I met Heidi a year before the big day, and I knew I was in good hands. She was thoughtful, talented and accommodating - allowing us to book the salon for the entire morning, creating unique, beautiful looks for EVERY girl (+ mothers of the bride and groom!!), and partnering with a makeup artist so everyone could enjoy themselves at one location while we prepped. I've been getting my hair done at Salon H for a few years and wouldn't go anywhere else! It's a beautiful, cozy, privately run salon with an intimate and friendly feel. Michelle always makes be beautiful and even the girls I'm not working with always make me feel welcome and tell me how great I look when I'm leaving. The design is upscale, classy, and super clean. I was referred to Salon H for hair and makeup by my wedding venue and could not have been happier. The salon itself has a great open floorplan so my girls and I could feel like we were getting ready together without making a mess in a hotel room. Heidi hooked us up with mimosas and yummy nibbles, and had an area we could relax in while we got make-up done. I was extremely delighted with my first experience at Salon H. I was hesitant at first because it was a little further than I would normally drive...but I am so glad I did! When I entered the shop, I was greeted right away by Diane at the front. She was very kind and made me feel welcomed. Not only her, but all the stylists and owner had smiles on their face and made acknowledgments of my presence, which isn't always typical of salons unless they are the ones doing your hair. They have nail services, makeup services and some cool things to look at while waiting.

I am very impressed with this salon! We were staying at a local hotel for a wedding and the electricity went out on the day of the wedding. The salon owner allowed us to come use their facility - with our own make-up artist and hair stylist - to get ready for the wedding. Wow. That says a lot about the owners and the values practiced at this salon!

I bought a living social deal for full highlights, haircut and style to Salon H mostly because I wanted to get my hair done and not spend an arm and a leg. I am now counting my lucky stars that I did that! The salon is very clean, professional and chic. The waiting area is relaxing and has various amenities. Lauren was my stylist and she was kind, courteous and listened attentively to what I was looking for. I wanted a summer look without looking streaky and I wanted two different color highlight/ lowlight to accent the color of my hair. She steered me in the way of just half a head of highlights

What a wonderful experience I had at Salon H. The decor of the salon is stunning and the staff is welcoming and friendly not to mention the talent of the stylists. I had a cut and color and I walked out of their after booking my next appointment feeling like a million bucks.

Salon H is a new business in Madison that everyone should try. Heidi and staff are great. Always a fun time with great results. I will not go anywhere else after finding this gem!!
