In 1997 I suffered from Narcolepsy. I tried everything western medicine had to offer me. I went to specialists, I took many different kinds of medications, nothing helped. I finally got to a point where my life didn't feel worth living and I was desperate. On a whim I tried acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
Within a month I started getting my life back, my sleep cycles started to regulate and the extreme fatigue was lifting. Within three months I did have my life back and I fell in love with Chinese medicine! I started school the very next semester and have never looked back. I have continued treatments off and on and I am always conscious of maintaining my health and sleep.

Preparing for your visit: All of our treatments take place in our community room, which means you will be treated in a comfortable recliner in a space with other people. If possible please wear comfortable clothes that can pull up to your elbows and knees.
What is Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine? Acupuncture is a method of Oriental Medicine that was developed over 3,000 years ago. It's purpose is to maintain health by inserting ultra-fine needles into designated points on the body. When our body is in a state of disease, it is out of balance.
Oriental medicine looks to the following factors as contributors to this unbalance: lifestyle, genetics, mental/emotional state and the pathogens in the environment.By performing Acupuncture and prescribing Chinese herbal remedies we are able to influence qi and fluids to help guide the body back to a state of harmony.

Best place for acupuncture. They take all precautions necessary for today's requirements, and I enjoy they let you take as long as you need, even taking a nap.
The lady who owns it is very patient and takes the time to listen, and makes you feel like you're her only client.
I go to her for anxiety, stress, depression, and ptsd. There are acupuncture points for pregnancy and she did points for that along with the usual.
I highly recommend her acupuncture facility over others in the area.

I started seeing Julie more than a year ago to treat my anxiety. Anti-depressants make me feel awful and I don't like to put unnecessary things in my body. Julie is truly wonderful. After just two weeks I wasn't having panic attacks and I was sleeping well. I now see her regularly to keep my anxiety in check during my insane schedule. For you first-timers...I hate needles and was very nervous, but it's really not painful at all and the needles aren't bothersome. Give it a try! You won't be sorry.

I've been having Acupuncture treatments by Julie for the past 4 months or so. She is FABULOUS! I began seeing her for a cronic pain issue. She was my last ditch attemp before more drastic measures at the Pain Clinic. I feel so much better with her care and have opted to cancel my nerve block and stay with the Acupuncture. I can't imagine not having her care..........
