Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Kelly Hallman, who is a licensed, experienced West Columbia veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Our veterinarian, Dr, Kelly Goodson Hallman, is a native of West Columbia and graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School. Following high school, Dr. Hallman attended the University of SC for undergraduate studies and the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine for Veterinary School.
After working at a large clinic in Rock Hill, SC for several years, Dr. Hallman moved home to West Columbia to open her own clinic, West Columbia Animal Clinic, in 1994 in a leased location on Sunset Blvd.As the practice grew, Dr. Hallman chose to move the clinic to its current location in the Springdale community of West Columbia in 2000.

Examinations, vaccinations, heartworm and other parasite testing, blood-work in our in-house lab, surgery, and dentistry. Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.

I am New to the area and had not found a vet yet... Unfortunately it was my first and last time using them...we had to put our 12 year old boxer down and it was tough. The staff was very considerate of our emotions and made it a very simple process. If we decide to get another dog, we will definitely make them our vet.

It was super easy to get an appointment. The lady was very nice over the phone and answered all my questions. When we got there, Miss Birdie was very nervous because it was our first time at the clinic. However, all the employees were understanding and very helpful. They got us in and out fairly quickly. The facility was clean and comfortable. Thank you all very much. We will be returning for any of Miss Birdie’s veterinary needs.
