I opened A Cut Above Hair Design in 2005 and have 23 years experience behind the chair. I strive to make everyone feel pampered, beautiful and important while they are in my chair. One of the things I love most about my job is the lasting relationships I create with my clients.
I feel that hair color should compliment my clients' natural beauty which is why my passion is to create natural looking hair color through the latest balayage and color techniques, regular root touch-ups and gray blending services.I stay current with the hair industry as it is constantly changing, by taking hands-on classes as well as using many online sources to keep myself refreshed and up to date on the latest trends and techniques.

As always Tracie was amazing. I went in not knowing what color I wanted. I normally go lighter in the summer, but the ends if my hair had bleached out and were flat and straw colored. But after thinking for a minute Tracie whipped up her magic and I am now good to go with some Summer hair.

I usually go in to a salon with pictures.... and say, this is what I want. Today I went in and said to Tracie this is the cut I would like, but do any color you want. Personally I do not think that I had a more perfect color in my life. She totally nailed it. I got home and looked at my hair more in different light and it is absolutely the prettiest color I have ever had. I love it! Thank you sooooooo much Tracie!❤

I have been going to this hidden gem for almost 15+ years. Since only two girls work there, it's a nice, peaceful atmosphere where they really focus on YOU and they're not distracted by the busyness of things around them. You can really trust Tracie and Alexis to take their time and knowledge to make sure you leave happy and smiling.

Yesterday was my first appointment with Tracie and I had no idea what to expect. I am not one to try new places and I was a bit hesitant but needed to have my hair cut and colored so I took the plunge and made an appointment. I am so glad that I did. I love, love, love the color Tracie chose to warm up my hair and to even out the various colors. I was looking for something warm and less harsh and Tracie was able to achieve the look exactly! Also, when it came time to cut my hair, I was asked the things I liked about what I had and what I wanted to change. Tracie spent time with me and listening

I told Tracie about my concerns that I seemed to be shedding hair at an unusual rate. She asked me a few questions, and then explained that there was such a thing as seasonal shedding, and also that it could be a result of the amount of stress that I was under. She said she thought it was nothing to worry about, but that we would keep an eye on it. She was very reassuring! And then she gave me her usual great haircut! Tracie is terrific!

After years of boxed hair dye I needed a big change. I went to A Cut Above for a color and my first highlights yesterday. I was a bit nervous, but excited for a change. Alexis (@Pacula.Styles) did such a wonderful job. She asked me exactly what I wanted and was so sweet, calming, and professional. I am so impressed and I love my new refreshed hair! I will definitely only be going to Alexis from now on and no more boxed hair dye for me. Thank you so much Alexis! 😊

I've been going to Tracie for a little over a year. She's wonderful. This time in I colored my hair. I had a picture of what I was thinking about and she asked me all kinds of questions, including my budget. She also let me know about upkeep so I would know how often I may need to come back in. I loved the end result!! If you're looking for a salon I definitely think you should try A Cut Above. It's relaxing, friendly and the pricing is very reasonable.

As always my appointment with Tracie was great. From the moment I walked into the salon to the moment I walked out, feeling like a new woman, Tracie made me feel like a valued friend, not just a customer.
