Absolutely love this place!!!
Great food, love the ambience-hard to find such a simple, calm, setting-feel like I am at 'grandmas house".
sometimes there are not enough hours that it is open-hope that improves. I have gone there only to find it was closed-so sad.
On farmers market days-you will get this great fresh food.
This one is on my list

Stopped in to get a few bakery items and was shocked by the prices for the size and the quality. The prices weren't consistently on display with the items in the case and it wasn't clear if the price was for one or multiple items. I'm from Madison, WI so I don't mind paying $3.50 for a brownie but not when it's barely 1.5 inches square. The flavor was good but it was pretty dry. I also purchased bite sized mini carrot cakes (literally bite sized) that I only found out at check out were $2.25 each! The guy behind the counter did throw in a free one after I expressed my surprise. They tasted great

Came in at 10:15a and was seated shortly after, but then we had gaps in service. Waitress didn't come by for ten minutes, and after that the food took almost 45min. Room was very warm, in a good and bad way - art and surroundings are nice, but the place could use some airflow or A/C. Our table was too close to those around us; everyone was bumping into us. Food was good, well played, moderate price for the amount of food we got.

What stands out for me was the friendly welcome from the owners here. It's a real family business with Mom in the kitchen, Pop out front and Daughter serving—and they all engaged with us with smiles and great humour. The breakfasts—we sampled four different dishes among our group—were all hearty and delicious. And the interior is full of curiosities that kept us entertained. Our two-year-old daughter loved the play corner too!

This is my favorite place to eat in Jackson Port. A gem of a place just bursting with creative energy and relaxed, eclectic ambiance. All the food is really great and made with care. All the baked goods I have tried in the last 15 years are fantastic including scones, cookies and pies. Excellent experience!

Dropped in at the end of the day after Maifest Saturday and they were still open with a decent selection of baked goods. Walked out with a mini rhubarb custard pie for $5 (dessert for after dinner), currant cream scone for $3 (good for breakfast next day), and ginger snaps $1.50 for two. For the quality, I rate Town Hall a $ for value. Not right in the middle of town, but worth the walk or extra stop if you're driving!

This place is adorable in a great location. I was just checking out the store and couldn't find any dairy free products so I didn't taste anything, but their bakery looked excellent. They have a few antiques and some jewelry for sale as well. The other customers were far warmer than the employee. Worth stopping in.

After waiting 45 minutes, we asked our server where are breakfast was and she went to the kitchen to check it out. Turns out the ticket was never turned in to the kitchen. No follow up by mgt for the extremely slow service.
Very few tables occupied.....we can understand why with service like that.

Lovely old building, now turned restaurant and bakery. My sister and I stopped by for a late lunch last Friday around 2 pm. Their menu featured both breakfast and lunch fare. My sister had the smoked whitefish salad sandwich, served with a side salad. I chose the salad with a whitefish cake. The salads were fantastic, with multitudes of fresh veggies and fruits, accompanied by a light vinaigrette dressing. The whitefish cake was a tad salty but very tasty, as was the whitefish salad sandwich. We each had cherry ice tea, which was excellent. Light cherry flavor was not overwhelming and added a fresh

This quirky cafe/bakery is a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. All of the breads and pastries are made on-site, making for delicious sandwiches, biscotti, lemon bars, cherry pies and more. Simple menu includes lots of tasty salads made with locally grown veggies and extras like goat cheese rounds and/or whitefish cakes. Breakfast served all day. Be sure to fill out a Daily Doily comment card.

We wanted a fast breakfast and were told thr cinnamon rolls were good. We went on a Sunday, when most breakfast places are stocked and not much to get excited about. We ordered coffee and waited for cinnamon rolls as we were told it'd be roughly 15 minutes. 10 minutes later we were told they weren't actually being made and the baked goods we got were just ok. What's worse is 2 basic coffees, scone and coffee cake was around $14!!! I will not return...I'll drive to a close city for breakfast first.

Smell is my greatest memory retriever and this place smelled EXACTLY a like a little cafe I used to walk to when I lived in Seattle. Such fond memories walking in here. Baked goods for days! A tad pricey but food was great and pancakes fluffy and scrumptious. Coffee was ok, had a slightly odd taste. Perhaps the carafe wasn't cleaned appropriately. Adorable interior, decorated with vintage knick knacks, tea towels and lace; a dream!

On an early Tuesday morning, I walked into this very homey, pleasant kitsch restaurant, greeted by the waitress hostess--smiling as brightly as the sun. Quite a welcome!
After the pleasant observation that I was welcome to any seat, I was told about the help yourself coffee. Very good coffee!
I was aware of the reputation for freshness of the breakfast fare. So I put it to the test, choosing the Eleanor Roosevelt--(vegetables with some Swiss cheese and a light mustard sauce (one of their claims to fame)).
The dish was an egg omelet cooked to perfection enfolding the fresh nearly crisp

Okay, we almost walked out because the prices were a little much for small quantity of food but the yelp reviews drew us back. The breakfast food was out of this world. Creative dishes. Fresh, perfectly ripe fruit. Amazing mustard cream sauce that was delicious despite the fact that I don't like how strong mustard normally is. Everything was great. The bill was worth it.
