Services
Tastings - Briarmist offers tastings by appointment only, 7 days a week, as the schedule allows. Tastings are held in the Briarmist private baking studio. Then, you can discuss more about what you're planning, look through pictures, and find inspiration for your cake design. Feel free to bring along images, style boards, and anything else that may inspire a beautiful cake for your wedding.

It was less than a week until my brother's 40th (surprise) birthday so I made a few calls in the area. Misty was awesome, she told me to email her a picture of what I wanted, gave me a reasonable quote, and had it made exactly the way I liked it. Honestly I was happy that I could even get anything with only 3 days notice (I feel like I got lucky). I picked up the cake from a residential area in Fallbrook, and wow, even her cake displays are beautiful when I walked in. I'll say, if I ever get married or have another event in Temecula, I'll be ordering from her

Misty is wonderful! I called last minute (a weeks notice) trying to find someone to make a birthday cake for my daughter's first birthday. Misty called me back right away. She was so sweet and told me to send over some photos. I sent her this rainbow cake, she made it better than the picture!
The cake was moist and delicious, much better than most cakes you have covered in fondant. I will be using Misty for all of my custom birthday cakes going forward!

Very difficult to work with. She committed to doing the my cake. I sent a sketch of what I would like. She sent back a sketch something completely different. I asked if we could focus on the detail that was important to me. She then cancelled the order ( via email ) and said 'I don't think I can make you happy!' Pretty unbelievable as just the day before we talked about the design I did want and she said she could easily make it. Buyer Beware ! Misty will agree to do your cake, then change the agreed upon plan to something different without

We had Briarmist make our wedding cake. It exceeded our expectations! The cake was a beautiful work of art. In fact, some of our guests thought that the cake was fake. Not only was it stunning, but it was so delicious! We were lucky to get a taste during the cake cutting, because there was not a single slice left by the end of the night.

Unprofessional! I scheduled a cake tasting appointment with Misty over a month in advance. As we were nearing the address, we were already concerned because it was a residential area, and sure enough the address took us to a house, completely unmarked. We hesitantly knocked on the door and were told by Misty's family that Misty was out of town and wouldn't be back until the next week. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and double-checked my messages and emails again, but I never received any word that she could not make the appointment.

I started the process of looking for a bakery that I could rely on for my wedding cake, although we were not looking for anything fancy we still wanted something that would please the pallet. I came across Misty on yelp, read the reviews and decided to give her a call for a consult. She worked with our busy scheduled and we finally met at her home to try the different flavors she had to offer. I can honestly say we didn't have to look any further. The choices were ridiculously good but we were blown away by the apricot WOW!!

I found Misty (the owner) through my venue's preferred vendors list.
She is very easy to communicate on the phone/email and extremely accommodating. I had a 3pm appointment with her for a cake tasting before i had to rush to my food tasting at Grand Tradition (my venue), but our car broke down on the way there. After AAA came and got our car sorted out, i had completely missed my appointment with her and had to rush instead to my venue. Since i drove all the way from

Misty is the BEST!! My family has known her family for many years and she has designed several cakes for us, so I instantly knew I wanted her to design my wedding cake! I took in a few pictures of ideas and she pieced everything together into the perfect cake!!!!! My husband and I were beyond thrilled when we finally saw our cake :-)
