Dr. Masood, DVM is founder and Chief of Staff of NOVA Pets Health Center. He has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1985 and is a proud member of The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Prior to committing his veterinary expertise to helping pets, Dr. Masood dedicated 10 years to providing medical attention - everything from routine exams to complex surgeries - to zoo animals ranging from monkeys to elephants.
At NOVA Pets Health Center, we understand that your pet is a member of your family. That's why we provide individualized care to ensure your pet receives the best treatment while staying at our pet boarding retreat. Our facility offers medical boarding for cats and dogs, with all stays taking place under the supervision of a veterinarian to help your pet feel their best and ensure their medical needs are met while you're away.

I’m so glad I found this place! Great service very helpful and informative. Dr Masood was really good, honest and caring you can tell he loves what he does. We also have boarded our dogs there many times. We know they’re in good hands we have never had any problems.

1st time there. Everyone was friendly, professional, and very helpful. They answered all my questions and concerns and spent time going over everything without trying to rush it. We have been taking our pets to Dr. Massoud since he started his practice in NOVA nearly 20 years ago, and will continue to as long as we live here. In addition to high quality pet care and customer service, what sets his practice apart for our family is that he has diagnosed medical issues other vets missed and volunteered to provide house calls when getting our pets to the office was not feasible.

We’ve been going here for close to 15 years. Dr.Masood has always had great care for our cats through their many illnesses. Recently, he’s been able to offer shots for our 14-year-old arthritic cat and the results have been fantastic and noticeable. She can now sit comfortably and walk around the house much more easily.
The vet techs are always amicable and caring as well so we have no problem boarding our cats when needed.
Be sure to say “Hi” to their rescue parrot Lady during your visit!

My family and I recently purchased a puppy from My Next Puppy. When we were going over the purchase paperwork they did not try to hide the fact that the puppy was diagnosed with kennel cough 5 days prior. As an experienced pet owner I know that kennel cough is fairly common in puppies and normally not that serious especially since he'd already… been on his antibiotics for almost a week. They provided us with the rest of his meds as well as the wellness visit caveat. We were required to either go to their NOVA Pets within 2 business days (no charge) or schedule an appointment with an outside
