Sully Animal Hospital is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing affordable comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available.
Colleen is one of our client care specialists. She has always had a love of animals and has a passion for helping others and their pets. After going to school in West Virginia she decided that working with animals was her passion and then started here with us. In her free time she enjoys traveling, and being with her three cats, Macy, Merle, and Malley.

Dr. Taddeo and the entire team are incredibly caring and dedicated. I recently lost my beloved pup and they helped me figure out her illness by working with a specialist. The entire team showered my pup with love at each of her visits. I will definitely be bringing my next furry family member to Sully Animal Hospital.

We recently switched to SAH from a large practice. We were looking for more personal, individualized care with expert advice and care. Since switching our dog has received excellent care from Dr. Taddeo and her staff. The process of scheduling appointments, bringing our dog in and getting care is seamless. I have complete trust in her and know that my dog is getting the best care/treatment. Highly recommend !

The staff is very nice and the doctor took a good amount of time to talk to me on the phone. However, the upsell is just crazy and I can't stand it. Our dogs are healthy and we pretty much only go in for their annual physical. But every time I take one of my dogs there for a checkup, I have to go through this litany of "Do you want XYZ?" And they never tell you the price upfront, you always have to ask. The worst is this blood screening that costs roughly $200 - three times the cost of their annual physical. Today, I added up the cost of all the additional tests they wanted

We consistently receive amazing care from everyone at Sully Animal Hospital. Their staff is always courteous, kind and efficient and we just love our vet. She makes us feel like family and always takes the time to explain everything to us in terms we can understand. This is a difficult review for me to write. The staff at Sully are so nice and complimentary. They are gentle with my dogs and always speak professionally - unfortunately, they have made one too many mistakes for me to continue going there. Several months ago, my dog's feces was very dark, almost black. I looked it up on-line and it said this indicates blood and I should see a vet immediately. I called Sully, and was told the vet "didn't have time." They recommended I ago to another pet hospital which I did. I have taken Cooper here since he was 9 weeks old and they have always been professional and respectful. I sat by and watched as one of the staff was berated by a woman who did not want to wear a mask but wanted to accompany her dog inside and the staff kept her composure and adhered to the safety guidelines of the CDC. Good job, Sully! Don't let this ruin your day, many people are happy with your service.

Horrible. I can tell you first hand they do not care about the animals at. All. They just see a price tag every time you bring your fur baby in.
My dog had come here for 2 years. WEEKLY for a year and a half for an ear infection. Tadeo saw him at first but half way through she started sending other vets to see him instead. I was tired of the inconsistency so I took him else where, not only were they cheaper, they fixed the issue in a matter of weeks instead of yanking us around for over a year.
Secondly he is still seeing the other vet but unfortunately they're a little far away so I brought

I went to the Sully Animal Hospital to have my very old schnauzer groomed. He is too shaky and confused to go to a regular groomer, and a veterinarian facility was recommended. They did a great job and he seemed happy enough ( he's pretty grumpy nowadays). The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I don't know about the doctors that work there, as I didn't have any appointments with them.

Dr Taddeo has done 2 different surgeries on my dog, April. She called after both surgeries and answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. I brought my other dog there last week and she called tonight to go over the blood test results and discuss different options and where to go from there. I don't feel like she tries to force any tests or decisions and I appreciate her taking the time to explain all of the options. The whole staff is so friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this vet

My husband and I had just moved to the area from California and did not expect to need to find a vet so close after moving. Our 17 DSH, Dori had been diagnosed with kidney failure 4 years prior and never gave us any signs that she was slowing down. Less than 2 weeks after moving here, Dori went downhill FAST. Within 24 hours she stopped eating, could barely walk and was losing continence. I found SAH on yelp and gave them a call. Boy did I hit the jackpot with finding these wonderful people. I wish I could give this place 0 stars, but of course there is no option for that.
I took my 12 week old pup here for an emergency. He had a bad case of worms and he needed his second set of puppy shots. Sully animal Hospital was kind enough to see him the morning that we called even though it's by appointment only. So I appreciated how they were able to accommodate us.
When I go back to pick my pup up, the front desk is pretty hectic. With only one receptionist answering calls and trying to deal with customers in store. You can tell she was a bit flustered ( which was understandable considering

Wish you were here! I was on holiday vacation when I stumbled upon this top notch grooming spot. My friend's dog, Pudge was looking rough so I thought I would treat him to a grooming session, I googled closest place to where we were at and to our surprise we found this little spot tucked inside a vet clinic. Jackie blew us away with her obvious love for dogs. She transformed the little guy ready for the red carpet. And get this, she thought he may have an ear infection and sure enough he did! Didn't even have to make a second trip because the vet was right there! Pudge was so happy

I'm writing this review because I don't plan on going back here anymore. And Dr T has requested I updated the review after she called me to discuss the situation with our dogs. I'm not sure anything was offered other than excuses or medical mumble that I wasn't really interested in. What I was interested in was a solution to our problems or an explanation of the costs. Neither of which I received or was satisfied with.

I've been going to Dr. Taddeo and crew for about 6 months now and I can honestly say that they have been great to our two dogs. They are very knowledgeable, very friendly, and do everything they can to take care of our pets.
Also, I've never had a problem getting a quick appointment, nor have I had to wait more than 5-10 minutes to see the doctor. The facilities are always clean. And the front desk staff are always accommodating. I'd recommend these guys over many others in the Centreville/Chantilly area.
