First words upon starting the journey "I'll take you the shortest route girls", obviously not appreciating I'm local[ish], had driven the same journey last night and had a map. Tried to turn a 10mile journey into a 25mile journey. When questioned the driver said: "well I could have gone the Llanrwst way but the roads are really wiggly", then conveniently didn't hear me ask why we hadn't taken another route I could see on my map... Google "Rowen to Llangernyw" in Google maps and see if you can work out why she was heading for Abergele. We ended up asking for the journey to be ended in Colwyn Bay

Mad Taxi service this one and twice has this happened now and I'm a bit baffled. I've rang for a taxi from Llandudno Junction to my home in Llandudno, for a guest I had staying to be told "No Taxis for 2/3 hours" .. The confusion came when my guest arives in Llandudno Junction to be met by a line of Rodgers Taxis 4/5 strong. How are they not available to me but obviously are available from the Junction.
