This pizza was amazing!! We also got their cheese rolls, totally recommend. Our waitress was so nice and even through she was busy she took great care of us. We'll be back!

Wonderful staff! Went to lunch with my husband and had a salad and chicken fettuccine alfredo. It was all very good!! Excellent ranch dressing, and i was so impressed with the bread that came with my pasta! It was Perfect!

I just moved here and was concerned about the places I left behind in the city. Pizza is definitely not going to be a worry. Romanos checked all the boxes. It's the Best ! the restaurant is clean and the people are nice and friendly. I will definitely be going often.

Tried the submarine, my son got the kids cheese pizza, and I got a full sized salad with chicken for lunch tomorrow all for $20 and was ready for pickup in less than 20 minutes. Excellent quality! Can't wait to come back to try the specialty pizzas.

Great pizza Cafe, with a good buffet, and great pizza. Usually busy at lunch time and several options on the menu. Reseasonably priced.

Love their pizza! It’s got a great taste and doesn’t leave you feeling all tired like most pizzas. They have a cool set up and the buffet is pretty decent considering they are a smaller restaurant!

I went with 5 of my sisters for dinner. They all got their order but was didn't come out until they were almost done. I was delicious but I wished they would have givin my meal for free since it was so late getting to me.

The food was excellent. But they put one of my sister's orders after several of the people it was very late. As we were done she was receiving her plate. Otherwise the food was good

Pizza is great but the service has gone way down hill, it doesn't seem to be improving either.

Waited nearly 50 minutes for a lasagna a pasta... I was one of the only two tables waiting. Seems like there's a priority on to go orders. Terrible customer attention.
The food though is good, it's not worth the wait. Won't be coming here again.

The atmosphere and decor are representative of an older downtown area which was really inviting. My wife and I had just arrived after they lunch buffet had ended but it appeared to include all you can eat salad and pizza. Not sure on the price but I figure around 6 or 7 dollars. We started out with cheese rolls which were pretty good. Then onto our main course which was a "small" Stromboli for me which looked like a large and spaghetti and meatballs for my wife. The presentation and taste of the Stromboli were outstanding but it was only lukewarm. My wife said the spaghetti and meatballs were alright

Many of the other dishes there are good as well.
It's a nice place to sit and have lunch.

Only complaint: Twice when I ordered for pickup they gave my order to someone else and I had to wait longer. Hasn't happened in months however, so I think they learned from their mistake. So i'm not gonna ding them for it.

Glad to see our local pizza place still open. Buffet is now closed but sitting is good for social distancing

Tonight my wife and i called in a pickup order chicken nutty pizza, and let me tell you what! That is THE BEST tasting pizza i have ever tasted in my life. You can taste each and every ingredient and how fresh it really is. We usually order mr Jim's but tonight we wanted something different and we are glad we did. What a difference. You have found new reoccurring customers. This place is our new favorite.

One of our favorite places to eat in town. Staff is always nice and helpful, food is always good. Here lately they have been skimping on the toppings on the pizza, but the flavor is still great!

Very good pizza! Also, great prices. For being in such a small town, it sure has good food. If you find yourself in Van Alstyne, TX skip the fast food nearby and eat here!

The food here is just /fine/. The salad bar is sad, the cheese is usually not melted in the calzone, the cheesecake comes to you still frozen. My issue is that there are always a ton of teenagers working at any given time and none of them seem to care about customer service in the least. The last few times I've walked in the door there have been 3-5 employees in the front dining area and nobody even bothered to look up, much less greet me. I love Romano's! I ate there tonight with my parents for dinner. They were packed because of a large party (usually there is plenty of seating when I come). Despite being loud and packed, our server did a great job attending our table and refilling our drinks/taking our order in a timely manner. The food tasted great like always. I always love coming here when I'm craving italian!

Consistent and great quality pizza. Both crusts are delicious! Now our go to pizza since moving to Van Alstyne

This was our second time here and I'm so glad we came. The first time, the pizza was overcooked or something- the cheese wasn't the melty, stringy gloriousness you want from a pizza. This time, though, was so much better!! We had cheese rolls as an appetizer- fantastic. Garlicky pizza dough bites filled with ooey gooey mozzarella and served with pizza sauce. The sauce isn't as flavorful as I'd like but good enough! We got the hand tossed pizza dough, instead of thin crust and I loved it. The toppings (beef and pepperoni) were fantastic and the cheese was stringy just as it should

I was visiting town look at property in the area. Not too many choices for lunch on Monday because the other BBQ place is closed. I did not want pizza for lunch but it was the only place open. I was surprised to find a lot of other choices on the menu and I had an excellent chicken sandwich. I am not in Van Alstyne often but I would certainly come back here. Very clean place with friendly service and prices.

Worth getting off the highway for! I always love pizza that isn't chain pizza, the prices are great and the pizza is wonderful also. I had a hamburger, jalapeno, and green olive. Very good!

Love that it is so close to home but if your traveling and looking for a super meal just off the highway this is a great spot.
