Our mission is to promote yachting and seamanship, including boat safety, recreational sailing, the science of navigation, and the more extensive use of our waterways and oceans. The Seafarers have a rich history of cruising the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries for over 60 years. Our members are able to mingle with their fellow boating enthusiasts at our summer cruises, social gatherings, and community-based activities.
We are a proud member of the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Clubs Association (CBYCA) and many of our members ore involved with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and Sea Scout Ship 1959.

Services
Since 1959, members of the Seafarers Yacht Club have been cruising the waterways of the East Coast of the United States and serving our communities. It is my distinct honor and privilege to welcome you to the Seafarers Yacht Club of Annapolis (SYC). Since its inception in 1959, the SYC has been a beacon in the midst of the Eastport community.
The Seafarers Yacht Club, Inc., located on Back Creek in the Eastport peninsula of Annapolis, Maryland, is a private, nonprofit 501 (c) (7) social organization of boaters. Members of the club and their guests are able to participate in our breathtaking cruises, boating activities, and fun gatherings.
