The Eastport Yacht Club has established a sound reputation on the Bay as a 'do something' Club. Our heritage and pedigree come from the everyday people and workers of Annapolis and Eastport. Members share camaraderie and great times, on and off the water, with racing, cruising, social events, and community involvement.
Current members will tell you how satisfying it is to be a part of a diverse group of friends. We're a family - bonded by common interest and a love of the water. Our Clubhouse offers the membership a million-dollar view: the historic Annapolis skyline, Severn River, Naval Academy, Bay Bridge, Eastern Shore, and of course the Chesapeake Bay.

The Membership Committee thanks you for assuming the stewardship for the applicant for EYC membership. As a sponsor or endorser, you play a critical role in the integration of the applicant and the ensuing new member into the EYC family. The more you get to know your applicant, both professionally and personally, the easier it will be to guide them to become active participants in club committees and events.
The Eastport Yacht Club is a responsible steward of the environment, putting special emphasis on protecting Chesapeake Bay. Our oyster initiatives restore bay oyster reefs including our onsite oyster reef, a living wave wall, improves bay water quality and mitigates wave action in our marina. Our water quality monitoring program evaluates trends and helps us determine if our water is safe for swimming and water sports.
Other yacht clubs and organizations have asked us how we approached our award-winning clean regatta efforts. It was not without challenges, but with perseverance we accomplished our goal of Gold-Level certification with Sailors for the Sea (SFTS) (www.sailorsforthesea.org).
Our marina, built in 2010, was awarded a Clean Marina Certificate by the State of Maryland (DNR Marylnad Clean Marina), which helped fulfill several of the Best Practices of SFTS.The 2014 J/80 Worlds regatta was our first attempt to meet enough of the Best Practices to achieve Gold-Level. We enlisted the support of Annapolis Green (annapolisgreen.com) to help us with the recycling and composting efforts required.

Our Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rated clubhouse contributes to the club's green efforts. LEED provides a framework to create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings. The building is spray-insulated underground and in the frame to reduce energy needs in heating and cooling, we use low emission carpet and paint, and action activated light fixtures.
The Green Team has established a robust water-quality monitoring program for routine testing of water quality in and around the marina. Our goals are to ensure that EYC's water is safe for recreation, educate and reinforce STEM learning with real-world applications, and contribute to the Annapolis community's efforts to monitor and restore water quality.

Great club! Focused on camaraderie, friendly, safe sailing instruction for kids and adults, world-class cruising and sailboat racing, and quality member services (bar, dining, social events) with very high level of member participation/volunteerism and focus on non-exclusionary approach. An asset to the community!!

Great service. Beautiful view of the water and the food was great. I had to take a great deal of it home with me; so the portions were well worth the cost. Be careful with parking if you do not belong to the Yacht Club. Be sure to park across the street in the parking lot for condos. You won't be able to park on the Yacht Club's lot, but the walk from where you CAN park to the restaurant...is very short.

We came here as part of the "reward/fun" portion of our 2-1/2 day Board Meeting in Annapolis. And the planners had a reception on the patio portion of the Club after our boat (not yacht nor sail) cruise ride. Drinks available as we mingled with each other along with local guests from the Baltimore Section and including one from Naval Academy.
We then proceeded to the buffet style dinner . . Various options from mozzarella & tomatoes, crab dip & bread, Mac & cheese, beef tenderloin (petite size and tender - I don't really like steak that much but was looking for protein
