Perfect meal on a cold cold day. Everything is made in-house, and made with the finest ingredients and obvious passion. I enjoyed the beast, immensely. The help was very well informed, able to answer all questions, and able to accommodate are admittedly detailed orders.

We got lucky and travelled 25 minutes by way of Google's recommendation with this absolute gem. Lou's the consummate chef, his attention to detail with every single ingredient is perfection. We even had the fried dough for dessert because of my childhood Catholic feast obsession. We finished with delite, satifaction guaranteed and made a reservation for Saturday night(Prime Rib Special). Can't wait.

Visited on a whim. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is just divine. We had the Reuben and the Fran the Narc. Never been a corned beef fan but when the chef described how they season and slow roast their own and that every element was made by them from scratch, I knew I had to try it. Not an ounce of fat anywhere, shaved corned beef piled high with insanely good garlic pickles on the best rye bread ever. Rustic atmosphere, friendly service and generous portions. Our waitress had a great sense of humor. We both ordered meatball subs and shared a side order of potato wedges that came with dipping cheese sauce.… Sides do not come with the sandwiches, but the sandwiches are huge! While there, they had plenty of take out orders. The sub in the pic was larger before some had been cut off. Bring your appetite! Also, for those who are not locals, there is parking in the back.

Awesome place! Owner was fantastic. He explained the menu. A lot of the meats they do themselves. ( corned beef, pork, pastrami, turkey) We asked for chips and he will make them himself. They were delicious. Totally recommend this place. Not your quick stop deli. They take pride in doing orders one at a time and it is so worth it.

Randomly stopped in based on FB reviews while I was in town exploring. Definitely was not disappointed. had "The Luke." First off, this sandwich was enormous. Second, it was absolutely delicious. Finally, all the staff members were very nice, from the young man outside painting the fence, to the girl at the register who was working her first shift.… I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon, as I'm not local, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by. Also, huge plus that there's an outlet by every table. My phone was dying after a day of sightseeing, so I really appreciated

I have been driving by Sweet Lou's intending to stop in someday. Someday came today and I was not disappointed! The staff is very friendly and helpful, which makes the visit to a new place nice. The food was soooo good! I had the corned beef sandwich which was huge and delicious! While waiting for my sandwich a couple came in and she had some dietary issues. Someone came out of the kitchen to speak with her and explain what was in certain dishes and how she could accommodate her. Talk about customer service. I will definitely be back!

If you have not tried this hidden gem - I suggest you make plans to visit! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Let’s talk about the food!! Aaaa-mazing!! The portions are huge and soooo tasty. There is no… way to explain the freshness of the food or the atmosphere, you just need to try them out!! You will never leave hungry. I will definitely go back for sure!! Sweet Lou's did not disappoint!! I haven't been there in 3 years (when they first opened) and the food and the atmosphere is better than I remembered! The fresh pulled mozzarella logs ...😋...the hand cut fries dipped in his delicious cheese sauce 👍👍we both also had the Sweet Lou's sandwich..... on perfectly toasted homemade rye bread 😇 like heaven! Not to mention the homemade mint tea made with local fresh mint by the barista/waitress, who was just delightful, the mint tea was delicious 😋😊

This place is amazing. I love their motto I would rather serve great food on a plastic plate, then good food on china " Chef Lou ". The picture below is the most Schmackin pulled pork Mac and cheese I have had in the area🤤OOOOF😮💨The Chics Dream “leftover thanksgiving sandwich” is to die for. The Friendly service, unique atmosphere and desserts are just just as great!

This was our first time here. Service was prompt and personable. The chef came out a couple times to ask How are our food was. The waitress was very attentive.
The food, omg so delicious. Those mozzarella sticks were the best we’ve ever had ( better than Old Byran Inn) so big.
Hubby and I both went with corn beef sandwiches. Mine also had pastrami, delicious. I brought most of mine home. Couldn’t resist eating both my mozzarella sticks.
We’re definitely going back 😋
