Had these folks do some basic tune-up work on my car, was very impressed with the staff, timeliness of the work, and quality of completed repairs. At Legacy Auto-Tech, our goal is to carry forward a 50-year auto repair tradition in Grand Rapids. Jack Kamp founded the business-then a full-service Marathon gas and service station-in 1964 when he was only 18 years old. For seven years, Andy and James continued the business under the same name, maintaining the same level of service that Jack built his reputation on.

Great work at a fair price! They could have easily done additional repairs that I had agreed to and made more money but instead recommended I look into if the parts were under warranty. You’re not gonna find that kind of honesty just anywhere.

I've been using Legacy Auto-Tech for 7 years now and have recommended them to others I work with. They don't upsell or push unnecessary services. They've talked me out of some services even as they said everything was good and would only waste money. It's hard to find a good honest mechanic, it just so happens this shop is full of them.

What a day.. My tire completely blew out on my truck. Right in front of a tire shop. All of my kids in the truck with me coming from basketball camp. That same tire shop was closed for some reason... But then a shop next to it, not a tire shop, decided to help me (NO CHARGE)! Big thanks for the help LEGACY AUTO TECH! This was 2 days after I randomly paid for someone else's groceries. God always comes when you need him 🙌🙌🙌

For the last 10+ years, my family has entrusted Legacy Auto (even when it was Jack’s before), with all of our vehicles. Every single time we have an issue, they go above and beyond to make sure our expectations are exceeded. I can’t recommend the professionals here enough.

The team here is made up of the most honest, professional, and helpful individuals that I have had the pleasure of encountering.
