Chef Ren Len graduated from the Culinary Institute of America's rigorous Bachelor of Professional Studies in Culinary Arts Management program. After graduation, Chef Ren studied modern Peruvian cuisine in Lima under Gastn Acurio of Astrid & Gastn (recently voted one of The Worlds 50 Best Restaurants) before taking a position at Gotham Bar & Grill in New York City.

Westchester residents may know Chef Ren from his work with Tomatillo in Dobbs Ferry and Susan Lawrence in Chappaqua. He acquired his passion for food as a child growing up on his family's small farm in rural Ecuador. He is a strong supporter of local farms and sustainable, organic agriculture. Chef Rene's unique training and background allow him to provide a culinary experience like no other.

Rene catered both a dinner for about 25 and a lunch for 120 for us - both with ease. The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful. I'll certainly be calling on him again and would recommend him in a heartbeat.

René catered two amazing events for us this past weekend: a beautifully appointed and intimate family dinner on Friday night, and a truly glorious luncheon for 180 people on Saturday. His meal selections are varied, his dishes are vibrant and colorful, and all the food he makes is absolutely delicious! But René goes way beyond providing exceptional food. Collaborating with Rene Leon was straightforward, simple and flexible! Rene was responsive and offered creative suggestions for what seemed like an endless sumptuous meal, for our private party of 12. Rene worked fastidiously in the kitchen and humbly introduced each new dish prior to us devouring each and every course. Our pictures do not do the flavors justice nor the amount of enjoyment we all had having Rene Leon privately cater our party. We had several appetizers and entrees from fish, chicken, pork, several vegetable sides and salads! From start to finish including clean up we highly recommend

Rene handled all our catering needs for our kids' B'nei Mitzvah at Bet Torah. He did our Friday night dinner for 25+ people, congregational kiddish for over 150 people and a seated luncheon for 100 guests. From menu planning, to accommodating last minute changes to our seating and serving arrangements, he was a pleasure to deal with. All of the food was delicious. And the service provided by his staff was impeccable. I highly recommend him for your catering needs!
