Built in the Scandinavian Scribe style with Mohican White Pine Logs we have 3 identical rustic log cabins available for your back to nature adventure. The cabins are 28' long and 16' wide. The lower level houses two 8' x 10' bedrooms in the rear with a 10' x 16' cathedral room up front housing the kitchenette.
Due to staffing issues, the Family Vacation Package will be unavailable until futher notice. If your family would like a recreation-filled vacation at one-low price, the FAMILY VACATION PACKAGE (FVP) is for you. You have the choice of a river-front campsite or one of our genuine log cabins. All of camp's varied recreation is yours for enjoying, most of it in unlimited quantities.
4-WHEEL DRIVE - No vehicle is permitted to leave the designated paved camp roads unless entering and exiting your site. Do not drive across open fields or lawns. A.E.D. - An A.E.D. is available next to the emergency phone at the office on the Eastern outside will next to the security room. CHECK IN/OUT - Check-in is from 3pm-9pm the day of your arrival.
At an indoor location that is not a residence (all camp buildings where a 6-foot distance cannot be maintained at all times). Outdoors, but unable to maintain six-foot social distance from people who are not household members. Waiting for, riding, driving, or operating public transportation, such as a taxi, a car service, or a private car used for ride-sharing (this includes our canoe vans).
What has been a Mohican Wilderness staple for nearly 50 years has fallen victim to the ever increasing trend of larger, fancier, higher paying private stables providing day camps and year round lessons. All horses have found loving homes and are not up for sale. We appreciate your sympathy and understanding as it was a very difficult decision to make and not one that was made in haste.

This is a response for Frank Cerne regarding allowing people to park on the road. Those people were us. We had gotten stuck in the mud with our motorhime. Dave and the staff pulled us out. They then allowed us to park on the road in a loop until the ground firmed up. It was a loop, you could go in and out on the other side of the loop. We pulled off the road as soon as the ground firmed up. So instead of badmouthing the place maybe ask a question. Thanks Mohican Wilderness we will keep coming back every year!

I discovered Mohican Wilderness decades ago and it is a fantastic campground. The owner takes great strides every year to make upgrades to the the campgrounds and sites and is constantly improving ammenities. They offer a vast variety of recereation for the family, It is a very peaceful campground and the they're entire staff is terrific. The camping rates are very reasonable and it is the only campground I go to seasonally. Thank you

Fun park..we love going to this backwoods place.... My kids loved it too... let's face it, who doesn't love the outdoors... A totally gorgeous setting down in the ridge of two small mountains along the river... Beautiful setting great for bike riding... I tell you bring your bikes.... But I will say their their bathrooms weren't dirty they were filthy.... No soap in some of them... Empty toilet paper in some... just gross all around.... Little tiny filthy trash cans piled up sky high... Wet toilet paper on the floor because a trash can is too full... I would never use these showers... They don

This place saved out weekend. We had a booking issue at another campground. They were able to accommodate our camping needs affordably. The sites were clean and maintained. The amenities were outstanding. Highly recommend checking out the wood fired pizza shop. The office was brand new and was fully stocked with last minute things. The staff was fantastic. They have a trash pick up each day. Couldn't have been more pleased with this place. Worth every penny.

I was running late for my kayaking trip and they were nice enough to wait for me. The shuttle driver had his dog in the van which made my pup feel immediately at ease. The woman I spoke with on the phone was nice and helpful. This was my first time using this place and will definitely use them again next time Iām at Mohican
