I do a specific event there. The owners are great. Camping down by the river means using a very steep rough dirt road. You will need 4x4 to get back out with a camper. The showers and bathrooms are very dated. They are clean and showers work well. The cost matches the age of this campground. That being said… it is so great that I have been going 5 years in a row

Lady that runs the place is nice. Old dude, he isn't so friendly. The roads going through the campground are in dire need of gravel. The camp sites are smaller than other campgrounds around there. Restrooms are clean, and everyday activities are nice for the kids. The playgrounds are run down and need overhauled.

This place is a hidden gem!! The roads there are a bit sketchy so be prepared if you are towing a large travel trailer. The staff was kind and helpful. The grounds were so peaceful, especially the sites by the river. I love that nearly every site here is shaded and the sites are decent sized. The price is very reasonable as well and facilities were clean

Extremely rude owners. Nowhere did it say that you had a time limit on the river. We had the canoes in before curfew. However, the owners met us on the riverbank absolutely screaming and making a scene, threatening to make us pay double. Refused to take us back up the hill to the campground, left us at the bottom of the huge hill. The campground was crowded and noisy. You couldn't pay me to go back.

Great for group and family camping!
We usually do a big family camping trip. Since not all family members have campers it can be difficult to find a campground to accommodate. They have a large camping area for groups with electric and water that you can rv or tent camp. Plus lots of different sizes cabins a short walk away.
You can also rent canoes for the river right from their location and they transport you up the river. Since they canoe a different section it is usually less crowded.
You just have to be careful bc parts of the campground are hilly and can be tricky pulling your camper

This is camping like we did as kids. You CAN go back in time!! The stars are amazing at night and you can actually see the Milky Way! The owners are fabulous and truly care about this beautiful piece of land! This photo is from the 4th of July on the river in town, quite busy but oh so peaceful! You can rent a canoe at Camp Toodik for much less than the liveries in town. It's a little piece of heaven at this campground!

Great little campground, the setting is nice and restrooms and showers were pretty decent by camp standards. We went canoeing and it was really nice to have the river almost to ourselves. Four stars because the sites we had were pretty small. A lot of the other sites were bigger than ours so we would try to choose larger ones next time.

Great campsite, it's clean and the store here is convenient. They have essential groceries, wood, ice and other things in their store. The pool is also nice and clean, the campsite has water and electricity hook up (make sure you have adapter or buy one in store here). Overall had a great experience! Definitely coming back

This review is not like the others you will read. So the boys and I had planned a 4th of July getaway to celebrate my birthday as well as the independence of the United States of America. God bless the USA. So let's begin. For security purposes I will not reveal my friends identity and will refer to them by their true nicknames. Camp twodick was not our first choice we had stayed at multiple other mohican campsites without as much as a warning. Camp twodick was our last resort because all the other sites were completely full. Let's start at the very beginning. Myself "Chicago typewriter

Camp Toodik is a well maintained, clean, family campground. The owners are super nice and helpful. Always willing to help to make your visit perfect.
I think they offer a nice variety of activities and the swimming pool is great on hot summer days. There is a small game room, a rec room, putt putt, playground, and plenty of hiking trails. Two very clean bathroom and shower houses are well kept.
If you are looking for a family campground, this is the place for you.

I've read some pretty bad reviews about this place and I'm not sure why. Our experience was one of the best as far as camping spots go! We tent camp and had a primitive spot. The location was absolutely perfect! Peaceful, clean and large! The campground itself was so quiet and scenic. We will for sure be back!! Sooner than later!!

I wish this place would invest their profits back into their business. The bathrooms are filthy, the playground is a disaster (one set is steel from the 1970s, the other is wooden from maybe the 1990s and is rotted), the dirt roads need graded as they are washed out and full of rocks (asphault would be nice). Surprisingly the pool is well kept. Additional investment and effort by management and this could be a pretty nice place.
