The guy that helped me was J. He was gonna make sure I got my window fixed It was raining very hard. J and I went to a parking deck! He was on time,friendly and incredibly fast!!!20 min and he had my window in. I checked at least 10 places and they were cheapest. It was a 150 difference from others.

Got a very fast and affordable windsheild replacement for my VW Golf. Looks and performs great a month later.

I was looking for someone to fix my window situation at my home and to my amazement a number of company's aren't doing residential work now...hmmm. I contacted Durham Glass for service and the office staff was VERY helpful.They sent Chris out to measure and when we decided to place the order Chris came out again to dbl check his measurements. This was no small job as you can see. We had three qi down needing to be fixed or replaced and Chris and crew got it done. So happy with their work. If you need windows repaired or replaced...call DURHAM GLASS.

Durham Glass Company was quick, professional and did exactly what they said the would do with no delays and no issues. Edith was awesome! I think she is a one-woman show over there because she handled everything from the scheduling, to the install to the collection of payment, She communicated with me throughout the process and even got it done faster than I expected.

Would recommend. They are a family owned and run business that really does good work in the Durham area. Also, their pricing was competitively under other companies in the area (including safellite). The work came in exactly what she quoted me.

This place is a lifesaver! I neglected to get my car front windshield fix for a couples of months because of the cost. Contacted the dealership who recommended I contact Durham Glass. From my first call to the completion it was very smooth. Edith also was very helpful with providing my quote. She also went above and beyond to make sure my replacement was the same as what I had before. If I need a full replacement, I will be coming back.

Good experience. Punctual guys. The window took a long time to order but that may or may not have been in their control. When they brought the new window, they were done in a timely manner!

This is a family-owned and operated, honest business. My windshield needed to be replaced, they noticed that the last company put it in wrong and damaged the adjacent parts. They called the other company on my behalf to get the parts for me, and bent over backwards to meet my needs. I recommend them without hesitation.

I haven't written a Yelp review in forever, but I wanted to take a moment to sing the praises of Durham Glass. I had a car window shatter the other day and I brought it to Durham Glass to get it repaired. Their prices were very reasonable, the work was don't quickly, and they even gave me a ride to and from work when I had to bring it back due to an error on my part. I spoke with Edith, who runs the administrative side of things and Lance, who repairs home glass, but was nice enough to give take me back to work while my car waited. Both were very friendly. I had poor communication dealing with Edith from this company. I booked a date for them to come out to "get everything taken care of", but she could not confirm a time until the actual day they were coming out. It was an inconvenience for me to have to keep my whole day open, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt based on their good Yelp! reviews.

Two guys showed up reeking of cigarette smoke. I believe one was a trainee, because when the 2nd guy re-measured the window, he realized the first measurement was off by 7/8", and started chastising him. Granted, I'm not a window

I have been waiting to do this review until I had the chance to observe my new windshield in all types of weather. Early in the fall of 2014, my front windshield was hit by a rock while driving on the interstate. The crack in it spread really fast, so we decided to completely replace the windshield. I looked at other places, but no other company's prices could beat Durham Glass' price. To make things easier, they also came TO MY HOUSE to do their work, and it didn't cost anything extra.
I've now driven this car to Tennessee and back (as well as all around the Triangle)

Excellent customer service. It's definitely a family establishment and very friendly. The price was more than fair (I was willing to pay more but she wouldn't accept it). The repair work was just done today, so hopefully it will last well over time, but I feel confident that if anything goes wrong with the repair, they'll back up their work.

Word to the wise: if your rearview mirror falls off of your car, go to Durham Glass. If you go to a car repair place, they'll charge more for the same work. And, you can try to buy the kit from Autozone, but you'll spend $5 on

Top-notch! Great, friendly service and high quality replacement. Worked with Edith to get a quote and arrange a time to have the windshield replaced (off-site). Two gentlemen came to my office to replace the glass in less than thirty minutes. Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable (note payment options are check or travelers check) and it was worth it to have them come to me to replace the glass. Great company!

I came home to a partially broken window last spring. Durham glass came, gave us a reasonable estimate, and repaired the window perfectly - you'd never know anything had gone wrong! They were friendly and efficient. Great job!
