Fern Valley Natural Health is a naturopathic, primary care, medical practice dedicated to providing comprehensive, individualized healthcare for the whole family. We specialize in combining modern-day, evidence-based medicine with traditional, naturopathic therapeutics to provide our patients with effective solutions to meet their individual healthcare needs and future goals.
Naturopathic Family Medicine: We offer general heath check-ups, annual exams, preconception counseling, contraception counseling and prescriptions (including IUD insertions), acute illness visits, chronic illness workups, nutrition and exercise guidance and counseling, and much more all while taking a unique, holistic approach.
When you receive care at Fern Valley Natural Health, we offer in house insurance billing for your convenience. Because there are hundreds of different plans within each company, we cannot guarantee coverage for any of our clients. We strongly encourage our clients to empower themselves by getting clear information from their insurance on what their plan covers.

We had an extremely incredible experience with Dayna Hall at Fern Valley, so much so that we drive to this office from Shoreline. It's worth it! Dayna is a phenomenal lactation consultant, she explains concepts with such perfect examples/analogies and gave us exercises to practice with my daughter to help speed things along. Her visit summaries are extensive and so thorough, she takes notes about everything during our visits, and she replies very quickly through the messaging portal. We had several really bad experiences here. We also had some good but the good experiences were with a doctor who is no longer there. Dr. Loren was great during our first appointment. We did some testing for my child, she took 6 weeks after she got the results to send me the supplements he needed - which is totally unacceptable! 6 weeks to message me through the portal!
Prior to that my son had strep throat and she gave him antibiotics. My other child was also sick and she said he must have the same thing, we'll test him but start him right away on the antibiotics. He was under 2 which

Our experience with Dayna Hall IBCLC/ICCE has been incredible. Before finding Dayna I saw 3 other IBCLC that I did not resonate with. I am so happy I kept searching and found her. She is a safe place to land as a new breastfeeding mother. Dayna is a wealth of information, and we feel very safe in her care. She has guided us through almost 7 months of exclusive breastfeeding. I would say a visit to Dayna is the best thing you can do for yourself and your baby if you are planning to BF. We always leave our visits with her feeling 100% better than when we walked in the door. We can't thank her enough

Unfortunately, this clinic is no longer the same. All good doctors left. Now they have new doctors that give you prescription for just two months, and ask you to schedule appointments every two months and do blood work and refuse to renew medication unless you them every two months(using i want you to be safe excuse). Sounds like very desperate and hungry doctors.

Have had the worst experience with their receptionists. They will not let me speak before interrupting me when I was about to give them the answer. I think that this is the most unprofessional business in Washington state. After they told us to come to the door to be let in nobody was there to let us is while my baby and I were standing outside in the cold. Honestly do not go to this doctors office. Also disgusted in the way that the receptionist thinks it's ok to make another appointment that I have to pay for without even checking with the doctors. I am beyond livid with this place. Stay

My baby and I love coming to Fern Valley. It has a very relaxing atmosphere: more like a spa than a doctor's office. Clearly much thoughtful care and love has gone into the design of the place. There is a private room for breastfeeding and changing infants, with calm lighting, comfy pillows, and adorable decor.
The doctors and staff are absolutely wonderful! Dr. O'Brien is extremely kind and gentle and even gets down on the floor to help my daughter feel safe. More importantly, though, she also has strong, professional hands as necessary for the care of my child, so she can make the unpleasant

The office is super clean and bright and decorated very well. The staff are all extremely professional and friendly. The overall feeling of Fern Valley is warm and welcoming. The doctors are very knowledgable and genuinely care about all their clients. Our entire family are seen at Fern Valley. The care we receive is exceptional! The doctors take their time with you, and go above and beyond when it comes to figuring out what it is that you are dealing with and how to help you. I whole-heartedly recommend Fern Valley!

We first met Dr. Loren in 2009 when she was also providing midwifery care at EBC. She delivered our first two babies and we now see her as our pediatrician and family doctor. We are all so comfortable with her and appreciate her in depth knowledge and natural approach to getting healthy and staying healthy. She teaches you why your body is doing what it's doing and how to improve its function with natural remedies. You come away with a better understanding of yourself and how to prevent illness.
