But why not own your own? It is one of the pieces of equipment you rely to keep you safe, literally keep you alive, so maybe you should own one so you have the peace of mind that it is in perfect working order and you are accustomed to using it. Computers have batteries, batteries can fail or the computer fail from flooding unexpectedly.
Environmentally Sealed First Stages, are a must. They seal OUT corrosive sea water and dirt from murky fresh water. When working on them you can see the result in the interior of a 1st stage that IS NOT environmentally Sealed. For these reasons, we only sell Environmentally Sealed regulators. Cost, is a factor when you buy anything.
I have been working through Wayne at The Scuba Diver Store to resolve a problem with a product that I bought; and Wayne seriously advocated for me with the product manufacturer until the problem was resolved, and then some. This is a great store to do business with!
We responded with: Thanks for asking, most people feel the headphone is so loud that they don't try to have it anywhere near their ear, but instead have it on a pouch on their upper BC strap OR WHAT I THINK IS BETTER, have a hood on, put it down the suit neck and up the hood AND HAVE IT PLACED on the back of their neck.That back of the neck void or natural pocket seems to work great and it is still easily heard.

Ever since I was PADI certified in the summer of 2005 I have been itching to go diving in Hawaii where I have lived since 2004. I don't know anyone that has their own gear so finding someone to dive with has been a challenge. Then a couple years ago my Dad (Wayne the Founder of TSDS) and I went diving together off the coast of Hawaii Kai, Oahu.
Why you should try to buy soft goods where you can try them on and why don't we sell them online?. If you're replacing an old item and you know the size fits perfectly, contact us and we'll be happy to replace it for you. However, The Scuba Diver Store feels strongly about the importance of properly fitting dive gear like boots, wetsuits, gloves and hoods.
