Here at Stillwater Diving we are passionate about scuba diving and our local community. We are fortunate to be located in an area surrounded by lakes which we love to dive in and keep clean. Please join us in our mission to dive local more often, keep our lakes healthy, and include others in our world of scuba diving!
We strive to keep instructor to student ratios low. This is so each customer gets the proper time and instruction necessary to become a confident scuba diver. This means our standards are higher than what is allowed by training agencies. Our training facilities (pool, and lakes for Open Water) are all within minutes of our shop.
Discover Scuba - try scuba diving with a qualified professional to ensure you love diving before you make the commitment. Open Water Diver - is our entry level scuba certification course includes all gear excluding mask, fins, snorkel, and boots. Open Water Diver Referral - is our entry level scuba certification course for those wanting to finish their certification on vacation or at a tropical destination.
We choose quality scuba operations at quality scuba destinations. You will be traveling with at least one scuba diving professional, this means beyond the Divemasters provided by the destination resort, you have a Stillwater Diving staff member (or several) with you at all times. The benefits of this are too numerous to list.
This trip includes: 7 nights stay in rooms that include a private balcony with a hammock, minibar/fridge, jungle views or ocean views, hotel and environmental taxes. All food and drink (including the minibar in your room, which is restocked daily).
6 days with 2 dives a day, tanks and weights, FREE NITROX, airport transfers to and from the resort, daily sports and recreation programs, access to Hobiecats, kayaks, snorkeling, windsurfing, and nightly live entertainment!The Iberostar is located toward the southern end of Cozumel, where the best diving is! Amazing dive sites are a very short boat ride from the resort.

They were AMAZING!! I went there to get my PADI dive certification and I can not express how nice they were. They took the time to teach everything that we need to know plus some tips. If we had any trouble they would stop the class or have another teacher help that student which is not only sacrificing “precious pool time” but teaching the course well. Also, when you are in the shop they are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to choosing your equipment. This was my first time scuba diving and even though I have other people that were helping me choose I still needed that extra expertise

Under previous ownership, there was never an issue regarding repairs and communications. I had taken my OW and purchased my full rig (2 sets fins, BCD, 2 wet suits, tanks, reg / octo and dive computer) from Underwater Connections. I trusted the work done and I gladly drove 90 minutes when other dive shops were within 30. When I needed yearly inspections and repairs, I was always given an estimate and anything above it a phone call until I could give them the go or no-go for repairs. Not the case now, my costs for reg / ocot inspection have gone from $60 (Underwater Connections) to $86 last year

I was Open Water Diver certified 20 years ago, but hadn't done much SCUBA since. While on vacation, my son tried the PADI Bubblemaker and loved it, so we decided to take the PADI OWD course (Junior OWD for him) after he turned 10. We were hoping to find a dive shop that both was relatively close to where we live, but more importantly, somewhere that would be willing to go over everything in enough detail and explain everything for a 10 year old to understand and retain. Stillwater Diving did just that - our OWD course was 4 adults (myself included) and my 10 year old. The instructors were all great

I took my son here for underwater and advanced this summer.
Steph worked with me on the gear and Jim did our training.
Very happy with both the gear recomendations and the training to dive safely.
Certainly recommend Stillwater for friendly service and thorough training.
