A Credit Union is a group of people who agree to save their money together and to make loans to each other at low interest. A Credit Union is organized by members of a group having a common bond. The Northampton Area School District Employees Federal Credit Union is comprised of public school employees, this being the common bond.
At Northampton Area School District Employees Credit Union, we offer many different types of accounts, suiting needs of all different kinds. All deposits are insured for up to $250,000 by National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). This is similar to the FDIC for banks. To open a share account, you must deposit a minimum of $5.00 into the account.
We currently serve the employees of Northampton Area School District and ARA Northampton and their families related by blood and marriage. Northampton Area School District Employees Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member owned financial institution dedicated to "members helping members" by providing efficient, effective, and quality financial service.
