GOLD Credit Union is a Member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative. Since 1937, we've worked to offer our Members exceptional financial products and services - from checking and savings accounts to mortgages and other loans. GOLD Credit Union traces its roots back to the flourishing of the electric utility industry in the 1930s. As Pennsylvania Power & Light Company (PPL) became the singular supplier of energy to industrial, commercial, and residential customers in central and eastern Pennsylvania in the 1920s and 1930s, they continued to absorb smaller companies across the region.

If I could give Gold CU more than five stars, I would. Every person I worked with at Gold was genuinely helpful, friendly, and caring. Not only did they secure my auto loan for the lowest rate I've seen, they went beyond that and offered me extremely sound financial advice. After dealing with so many impersonal banks and dealerships, it was almost a shock to encounter actual humans, who made a point to be both caring and accessible. Thank you to everyone there—especially Cindy Sears, my loan agent. She was fantastic!

I recently worked with Cindy Sears and the loan team and they were excellent! Not only was the customer services and turnaround time spectacularly quick, the rates I received for both my auto and personal loan were by far the best out there compared to other financial institutions. I am so happy I made the switch to Gold. The Gold staff go above and beyond to help you and provide you with valuable information. I needed a budgeting sheet and I got one. We also reviewed my credit history and discussed things that needed attention and or corrections. Gold also sent me an insightful book Money Rules The Simple Path to Lifelong Security which provides ideas and tips on how to manage your money. They are not at all like a regular bank. When you bank with Gold you are treated like family. They care and look out for you. I highly recommend switching to Gold!

I have been a member of Gold Credit Union for several years and they have yet to disappoint. I worked with Alden over the past two days to obtain a loan for a recent purchase. I told Alden I had a tight timeframe to make this happen and he worked his magic. I submitted the request for the loan to Gold Credit Union at end of day Monday and as of today, Wednesday, the funds are in transit (next day delivery) to the seller to close the transaction. Alden is a ROCKSTAR and an asset to the credit union. He and all of the other members of this bank are the primary reason why I continue to keep this banking

Another loan with THE best credit union! All of these people are just awesome to deal with, any time, for any reason. I cannot say enough about how pleasant it is to bank here. Chonda Mashore was so knowledgeable and was a joy to deal with while getting me this latest Auto Loan. She really put me at ease and my loan went through quickly and efficiently!!! 10 STARS!
