Mike Malinowski has been practicing law since 1985. He began his legal career with a large, 50 member multi-disciplinary law firm in Grand Rapids, MI. In 1988, he moved to smaller, five-member firm specializing in bankruptcy, family law, real estate, and general litigation. He started his own firm to focus more extensively on bankruptcy in 2001.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is known as the "fresh start" option because it allows people with a limited income or a recent loss in income to eliminate credit card debt, medical bills, utility bills, judgements and garnishments, car loans and even mortgage debt. Includes exemption amounts that allow most people to keep their home, car, and other assets.
Even people with a steady income can still be struggling with debt. If you can't get your head above water, Chapter 13 gives you the chance to catch up and rebuild your financial health. Chapter 13 gives you the chance to catch up and rebuild your financial security over time. Save your house from foreclosure by giving you 3-5 years to get caught up on your mortgage.
Sometimes people are reluctant to file for bankruptcy, not eligible to file, or it simply may not be the best solution for them. Malinowski Law can help you negotiate with creditors to reduce the charges or extend the payment period. When searching over the internet, you see so many different places to file bankruptcy and it’s hard to find that right one.
