I went in today and found that they are selling a book called "Vaccinations: A Thoughtful Parents Guide: How to Make Safe, Sensible Decisions about the Risks, Benefits, and Alternatives" Alternatives? Alternatives?!!!
It's absolutely unconscionable for Scarlet Sage to sell an anti-vax book in the middle of a pandemic (or at any time.) Shame on them.
Please look for alternatives to shop at.

There are few apothecaries that are as well stocked with anything you heart, body, mind and soul desires as Scarlet Sage.
The best selection of everything from organic cosmetics, tarot cards, crystals, medicine, ointments, incense, jewelry, oils, tea and the best Cacao and Golden Milk you can buy and brew at home.
I go as often as I can even after moving from SF my best friend and I walked blocks to get some more cacao and browse this magical place.
The staff is also very knowledgeable, helpful and caring. Thank you for being so much goodness, wisdom and healing in one place!

My absolute favorite store in San Francisco! Scarlet Sage gets that everything’s connected! They have wonderful guides on crystals, astrology, tarot, aromatherapy, elemental wisdom, magical spells and so much more. Tarot and Oracle decks, candles, Himalayan salt lamps, crystals labeled by name and healing properties, crystal infused nail polish, all natural make up and body lotions, essential oils, teas, incense and smudge sticks. My favorite herbal library. Full of scents and oils, soaps and concoctions. Offers a plethora of classes and their staff is more knowledgeable than the books that have been written on the subject. Every trip to this unassuming gem is an adventure in itself and while the prices are high, the quality consistently matches and often surpasses it, leaving me hardly able to wait until i get home to unearth or concoct this stores magic.

Super neat place if you love white people appropriating cultures! My friend asked if they had any tarot decks with explicit links to the kabbalah (the og tarot/mysticism text) and this chick straight up pulled out a tarot deck made by a KNOWN anti semite and racist. Why do they even have Crowley decks? I told her he was a super problematic guy and she said "yeah he's a controversial figure" like she knew about his reputation and could not have cared less. Put a super icky taste in my mouth. Probably never going back. Good smelling soap tho.

Came in again to get Lung tea. This time the tea tasted bitter and sour, they mixed it wrong... with their failing customer service, I know I said I was never coming back here again, but wanted to give local business a chance... but man this place fails in customer service and quality.... If you want customers to support small local business you gotta have legit customer service and quality products that match the prices. I going back to online resources and whole foods/rainbow... please fix your products and retrain your peeps otherwise you going to loose business.

Herbs a plenty here! Lately, I've been practicing divination, aromatherapy, and crystal work. This store has it all! I'm so glad it's close to me. Every time I pass by, I pick up a few crystals, oils, and herbs here. I'm saving up for an athamé but my wishlist for here is getting out of hand. They have many herbs that I can't even find online or it would take ages for it to ship. I love that they are strict about how many people come in the store at any time. They're doing an amazing job and I'm all about supporting local businesses like these over the big tech

I'd never been to this type of apothecary before. When you first walk in it can be kind of daunting with hundreds of shelves filled with all kinds of herbs, potions, salves, etc. Much of it was unknown to me. A very helpful salesperson steered me to the right section and from there it was a walk in the park. Then I just had fun exploring the rest of the store. They have all kinds of stones that have medicinal powers and Tarot cards and even witches' hats!
Go to find a remedy for what ails you but do take the time to explore further. You're bound to find some fun items you didn

The people are kind. The place is beautiful and the variety of products is incredible. Was so grateful to find them and have them not charge unreasonable prices. Wonderful store along Valencia, all natural things such as crystals, candles,incenses, lotions n such, sometimes they’ll have special special intimate events which are cool! Workers are hella nice and helpful, they have small-batch local items and a few refrigerated things such as bee pollen n collagen water.. definitely worth checking out!

I REALLY wanted to love this place and be able to give a 5* review. Sadly, that wasn't the case for me though. We came all the way downtown and waited for the shop to open so I could check this place out as I'm really wanting to learn more about natural healing and plant medicine. Instead, we got ZERO acknowledgement from any of the employees. I had some questions, but no help was offered. And they weren't super busy. Everything was CRAZY overpriced. They did have a lot of different and unique items, and if you have the money and don't need help from anyone, it's a great

I was very excited about this shop. But my first time visiting was very unpleasant. Employees were not friendly. I don't feel welcome here.
Overall, very disappointed. I thought spiritual shop suppose to make people heart warming. But my spirit only feel tired after visiting. And almost everything in store I can buy from Amazon or online for better prize. So store atmosphere supposed to be very crucial. But unfortunately it's not attractive.
