Since 1973, our mission at San Francisco Herb Co. has always been simple: provide our customers with the highest quality of product for the best value. Started during the rise of the fast food industry, one of our original goals was to inspire people to choose better, healthier methods of cooking. This feeling remains true today but now spans the many uses for our products in addition to cooking.
Please allow our warehouse at least 2 hours to queue and prepare your order prior to arrival. San Francisco Herb Co.'s retail store is open to the public and all are welcome to browse our huge selection of bulk spices and herbs, teas and essential oils for sale.

The spice trade has a long and storied history - its staying power is a result of continued demand across a variety of industries. There is a wide range of uses for herbs and spices, so at SF Herb, we maintain a large and diverse supply to match all of our customers' needs. Our customers range from individual buyers to large businesses that make large bulk orders.
Our fax number is (415) 861-4440. We offer a line discount on most items. When ordering five (5) or more units of the same item you will receive a 10% price break. When ordering online, the price will automatically change to reflect the discounted price. When ordering 25 or more units, the price break increases to 15% off the unit price.
Our offering of culinary bulk seasonings is accentuated by our large assortment of baking and food items. Here, you will find a wide variety of high quality wholesale herbs for cooking, spices, natural flavors, and several other delicious ingredients to help bring your recipes to life. We also feature some delicious snack items of both the sweet and salty variation!

This spice and tea shop is a wonderful spot in the city. Everything comes in 1-lb bags, so if you use anything in large quantities, this is your place to stock up at an affordable price. The staff are all very sweet and helpful if you have any questions. It's a small storefront that limits the number of customers inside to five at time, but I have never seen it occupied by more than four customers. Its business hours are limited to 10a-4p on weekdays only, so plan your visit accordingly.

As a chef friend described this wonderful shop, "It's like Disneyland." So many standard items and so very many unusual discoveries. I can not speak highly enough of San Francisco Herb Co. The people who work there are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The variety is outstanding and the prices are fantastic. I highly recommend it to everyone!

I used to go to the S.F. outlet store all the time and it was always wonderous. Now that I live out of state, I ordered online and got a huge box with all the herbs and spices I'll ever need. Everything was fresh and strong, except the lemongrass, which never is good dry. Everywhere else is a ripoff, this is the place to get your herbs.
