I have had RJM work on three of my vehicles since coming to the area in 2014. I have been completely satisfied EVERY TIME! They are always very responsive to concerns, have a VERY fair price, and do an excellent job. I have bought tires there because of the great deals and selection. I had them do a complete transmission replacement and it was fantastic - no problems and it was done in only a few days, including shipping of the new transmission!
They always take pride in the work they do, and if I encounter a problem they fix it with zero hassle.

Went here because of all the good reviews. I needed my headlights looked at because I have had to replace them 4 times in 3 years. He said I just needed new headlights which cost me $160 something. Oh but he did try to get me for $600 to replace my alternator which is fine.

Update: RJM called me and gave me a refund. I wasn't really looking for a refund since they did the work, or else I would have just told them that instead of paying in the first place. Still think you can save some time by not coming here if your car is a slightly weird make. I do appreciate that they got in touch with me though, so one star back for an improved experience.

I had a great experience with having my son's first car serviced at RJM. I felt that the gentleman was honest with explaining in detail the issues that the vehicle was having. They had taken car off all of my cars needs and stayed on schedule with the completion time. I also must say, the car runs like it's new!

I visited for the first time in January 2021 and was blown away by unbelievably excellent customer service, affordable prices, and fast service. Based on great online reviews, I called to see about getting four new tires, an alignment, a tune-up, and an A/C recharge and they were able to get me in next day (although I opted for a few days out). I did have to leave a message when I called, but they called back within a half hour and spent a lot of time helping me choose tires and giving me multiple quotes for different combinations of services and tires. Just had my 100,000 mile service done at RJM who has been servicing my cars sine 37,000mi. What I like about Robert (the owner) is he evaluates YOUR car. This attention to detail has kept my car running smoothly and allowed me to feel safe driving my 2002 car on long road trips.

I chose this place because the price estimate for new brakes and rotors was cheaper than anywhere else I called. Despite being short-staffed they were able to fit me in next day and get my brakes done within a few hours. Robert was especially helpful and my car is now running better than ever. In July 2019 I was told that I needed front breaks soon on my 2007 4Runner when I had my oil change done. I was quoted $1450.00 for 2 front breaks and calipers. I found RJM on Yelp and others and I got 3 estimates. I loved the prompt response and the fact that Robert did not tell me with the estimate appointments available tomorrow. Robert and Jim are very pleasant. I got my breaks done, my tire pressure adjusted because they were too high, considering I just had Lesschawb rotated my tires a month ago. With my breaks, oil change and tires adjusted it was $600 less than I was quoted at other place

This used to be my shop of choice, but the quality of care here has dropped too much to justify driving from east Olympia. He's a great mechanic, but absolutely miserable at customer service. There used to be a female that covered this for the shop, she did well speaking nonmechanic and providing a buffer.
Last time I got work done here, over 1000 buck job fixing a bunch of stuff. I get charged for the diagnosis "hard start" like 80 bucks. The diagnosis I provided going into the shop. Then they failed to tighten my battery terminals on something as simple as a battery placement

If you need any work done on your vehicle this is a great place. Very conveniently located off Hwy 101 with a clean waiting room. I had a level kit, tires, and an alignment done on my 2016 F150. The mechanic and fellow Veteran (Jim) was professional from beginning to end. He was well-versed with my vehicle and understood my expectations quickly. We've used RJM a couple times now, once for an oil change and once for a significant repair. Price on both was more than reasonable, and actually less than we were quoted. Service was exceptional, and they also took the time to explain the bigger picture with regard to our repair, which helped us decide what course of action was best for us.
Having auotmotive repair performed can be stressful and expensive. To find a shop that is economical, competant, and trustworthy is rare. RJM ticks all these boxes and is the garage we will be taking our vehicles to from now on.

I didn't have service done here; car was basically totaled. I can't review about their work other than what I have heard through word of mouth - I have been told by many people , friends, and other online reviews that RJM does great work.
I CAN review the customer service - A+
The owner was very gracious with me. He allowed me to store my vehicle on his lot until pic-n-pull could make it out there. There was a mix-up and my car was there longer than expected but the owner didn't give me any angst , nor did he charge me a fee.

Talk about the least painful trip I've EVER had, in my life, when it comes to auto repairs! Customer service was excellent. I originally got my quote by messaging the business on Yelp; they responded quickly and professionally.
I booked my appointment and they offered me a loaner car. Every other business told me they didn't have them. When I got to my appointment, I dropped off my car, they handed me the keys to the loaner, and I was on my way. They called me a few hours later and my car was good to go.
