In 1981, with only 10 students and 6 teachers, Westside Christian High School opened its doors in the vacant Collins View School building (now Riverdale High School) to serve families on the west side of town. Then in 1992, after a collaborative effort with Lake Bible, a new combined church and high school structure were built on the corner of Kruse Way and Carman Drive in Lake Oswego.

Services
Westside Outside is a unique Westside Christian program designed to help students develop a heart of compassion. It exposes our students to what God wants to do through them and encourages them to serve outside the school for an "open-heart" encounter with the poor, oppressed, and hurting people in our community and around the world.
We aspire to be a premier Christian high school in Oregon, providing an exceptional college-preparatory education, enabling students to matriculate to any school they desire for higher education, including leading universities throughout the country and the world.
Beyond providing an outstanding high school education, we affirm Romans 12:2, where we believe God can radically transform and change a person's life by the renewing of the mind, through the work of the Holy Spirit.Through relevant, biblically integrated classes and outstanding extracurricular activities, students are discipled and equipped for a life of service and stewardship.

Westside Christian High School consists of 32 staff and faculty members. WCHS has 9 full-time and 7 part-time teachers. 95% of our teachers have a master's degree or are certified. Several of our teachers are also head or assistant coaches for Westside Christian's athletics programs. Our leadership and office support team consists of professionals in Christian education, finance, and development.
The governing body of Westside Christian High School is the Board of Directors. These Christian business people and professionals serve non-salaried in accordance with the nonprofit status of the school. Questions for the board can be emailed to board@wchsonline.org. Brent is currently serving as the Director of Logistics for the B4Church and is the Assistant Boys' Soccer Coach for WCHS.
