The owner Mike neglected to disclose “Service Call Charge” up front. He showed up, spent 45 min doing job. $120 ok, But Hits me with $59 Service Call fee? He omitted this up front on The initial call. He said he was in San Rafael and on his way back to Novato and would stop by. He never said it would cost $59 to stop by. When given the opportunity to correct this and make good he declined and hung up on me. Local Consumers beware!

On time, efficient, suggested great options I hadn't thought about. Mike is solid !

I had him swap out a rusted deadbolt. Totally professional.

The service is absolutely professional and wonderful! We have to unlock the lock of our alarm system and get a new key of it. The whole process only took around ten minutes to unlock and rekey the key. The most important part is their price is so much more reasonable than other companies. I don't want to mention other company's name. But other company will cost more for only unlocking the lock than the package you get from EconoLock. We really appreciate their service!

Prompt service. They tracked down a specific style of door lever for our kitchen door. Complete charge for service call, install & key new lock from our old keys was very reasonable. Very pleased. I will use again.

Never got to get service done by econo lock so my review is based on communication im sure service is good but getting a hold of a locksmith is nearly impossible. They have one line and it goes to voicemail. You leave voicemail and someone is suppose to call back. Maybe get answering service in the future. Then I got a call a quote and whom spoke with gave me a reasonable quote and we spoke and I stated I'd call back the next day as I was going to be off. Called later that afternoon with new voicemail no response. Called 2 times and got a call 3 hours later and it rang once and called ended I.called

Called two or three times to make contact and an appointment. Appointment date came then no call and no show. Call them a day later to see what happened they said they called to reschedule but no one answered. Never called back as promised to reschedule.

Obviously too busy for a pesky new customer. Stay away

Mike was amazing and totally saved the day! My key had broken off in the lock and everyone I had called around to in-town I either had to leave a message with a secretary or couldn't come out to help me out until days later. Mike answered the phone himself and said he would be down from Novato to help me out just as soon as he finished up with a customer he was with. He was down to San Rafael inside of 45 minutes, and had the broken key out of the lock and a new key made up for me in about 10 minutes. Unbelievable service and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!

I wish everyone in the service industry was like Mike. I was looking to program an additional key fob (from an ebay seller) for a car I recently purchased, and tried about four places before I called Mike. Dealer wanted over $180 and tried to con me into buying the fob from them, two locksmiths said they couldn't do the job, and a guy in SF said fine, he could handle it - I just had to drive to him in SF. Tony was very professional and helpful over the phone even though he was not able to provide (the specific keyless entry of key fob's for a 2013 Buick LaCrosse I have) programming and key cutting. I would rate a 10* if I could. Locked myself out of my house accidentally while going to my mailbox. Never happened before. No shoes, no keys, no cell phone. My neighbor lent me her phone to call a locksmith. I called the first one that came up. Mike answered and was kind, understanding, professional and said he was on his way!! When does that ever happen in today's world of people not caring and unprofessional service?
