Kevin Vrieze (the Boat Doctor) started in the marine industry in 1995 after graduating from Faribault Technical College in marine repair. Kevin worked at marine dealerships in the twin cities area for a total of 9 years before deciding to start his own marine repair and storage business. Boat Doctor Marine was incorporated in 2004 in Montgomery, MN.
At Boat Doctor Marine we have one of the leading marine service departments in the Twin Cities Metro and Southeastern Minnesota markets. We have an 11 acre gated facility equipped with a video-verified security system to protect your investement. Our modern 4-stall service shop, built in 2008, is furnished with the latest tools and equipment in order to provide exceptional care for your watercraft.
Boat Doctor Marine proudly provides marine services to communities within a 100 mile radius of Montgomery, Minnesota: Apple Valley, Bloomington, Burnsville, Cottage Grove, Eden Prairie, Edina, Faribault, Jordan, Lakeville, Le Center, Le Sueur, Mankato, Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Montgomery, New Prague, Owatonna, Prior Lake, Rochester, Shakopee, St. Paul, Waseca, Etc.
Kevin and the crew provide convenient on-site repair coming to your home, dock or wherever your boat may be located. At Boat Doctor Marine we are able to provide a full range of on-site repairs; however at times we need the tools and shop setting to most effectively complete the repair. Once at your location if we feel the work is needed to be done at our shop, we can transport for you and deliver back if needed.
Our different package options can include oil & filter changes and complete lower unit servicing as well. We understand that your boat / watercraft is an investment, and one that should be protected. You can be sure that your motor will get the proper winterization services in a timely manor. Boat Doctor Marine also winterizes campers and RV's, fish houses, and any other form of Minnesota fun you may need assistance with.

Good price for winterizing and storage, but you get what you pay for. Customer satisfaction just isn't a priority here I guess. Brought my boat home and they had put the pointy end of my boat cover pole up, and it punched a hole in my boat cover. First excuse was my boat cover was in poor shape and full of patches...its not, second was the pole didn't have a protected end for the tarp side...it does, then they tried to tell me I wasn't using the pole properly, and the protected end goes on the floor so it doesn't move. The pole isn't long enough to reach the floor, the pointy end goes in the front

The advertisement was correctly described with words and pictures, for the pontoon we wanted. They answered all questions before driving an hour and twenty minutes to verify everything. Prices are firm and within other private parties are selling. Paid and drove it home same day. Highly recommend talking to them as their inventory changes.

I gotta say I never take time to write a review, unless I had a terrible experience. In this case my experience with them was outstanding. We bought our new pontoon at the boat show, they were easy to work with, they kept me informed through out the entire process while the boat was being built. What most impressed me was their delivery!! They brought my new boat almost 4 hours up to our lake, put it in the water, and spent 2 hours on the boat with me showing me every single detail from docking it all the way way to how the table worked. I have to say I figured I knew everything there was to know
