Robert & Rosemary Ritchie had a family of young runners. When it was time for running apparel, they noticed there really wasn't a place to go. In 1979, Robert started the business out of the basement of the family residence carrying "Frank Shorter Running Apparel". The Ritchie family quickly became synonymous with cross country and track at Tallmadge High School.

Our embroidery department has been top of the line for over 20 years with our state-of-the-art technology. Artwork is created to each customer's satisfaction and then put on any item ranging from shirts, jerseys, jackets, bags and hats. A machine with six heads enables quick turnaround on products, and eliminates mistakes with its automatic clipping.
We provide a variety of awards ranging from custom sports trophies, plaques, ribbons, and medals. Not only do we prepare all trophy construction in-house but also we have a wall of sample trophies and plaques! This makes choosing what you want as easy as pointing to a trophy on the wall. As a result, this allows for quick turn-around time.

This is the only place I go to get my shoes.
Trust me I work retail and I do need shoes every 3 months. Only because the floors are concrete and when your on your feet 8-10 hours 5days a week that happens

Very helpful and extremely friendly. My daughter and I had went to get shoes. The staff helped recommend the best shoes for her needs and were more than willing to keep bringing different sizes and several styles. In the process another member of the staff was able to offer options and encourage my daughter with her senior year.

I was directed to shop through Ritchie’s on their social media. They post so much great content and really know how to bring in customers! The staff was really great and helpful when searching and picking customization pieces. Most definitely recommend stopping by, and possibly getting a custom t-shirt, or I got a mask!! Awesome!!
