Deep Blue Divers has been serving the needs of divers and snorkelers from all over the world and here in South Florida for the last 20 years. The school concentrates on offering students the best quality training available, from beginner to professional training. Our Mission is to be a catalyst agent in the paradigm shift of educational techniques as well as with the gear related to the sport of Scuba Diving.
Beaches will re-open with restrictions. Based on the State of Florida reopening guidelines we will be running dive and snorkel trips from boats as well as beach diving and instruction. These trips will follow CDC and social distancing guidelines including a reduced number of divers on the boats. We are ensuring that all equipment will be sanitized following CDC recommended substances to eliminate any chances of contamination.
A 3 hour course includes theory, confined water training and a guided tour of the reef with an instructor. This course will give you a more in depth taste of what Scuba is all about. Stand Up Paddleboarding ("SUP") is a great activity for water sports enthusiasts of all ages and fitness levels. Our fleet of stable and buoyant boards make learning to paddle easy, quick and fun! This sport is an ancient form of surfing, with its roots in ancient Polynesia. The modern sport became popular when surf instructors stood on their boards in order to manage groups of novice surfers.

Wow!!!! Best dive shop ever! Really enjoy talking to the guy who owns it. I think his name is Dave.
Him and his wife are from California, they’ve been here for quite some time. He’s very knowledgeable about the area, and has really nice here for rental. I actually did my first sure dad and first solo dive through his shop. Can you help me set up the year, and sent me on my way he gave me a brief tutorial on how to get into the water, which I really appreciate because I’d never done a solo dive or shore dive before.
He explained the schematic to me of the Reese, and explained logistically

Nice people. Very small shop. Rental equipment is a mix of old and new equipment, all however, heavily used. Rental equipment are low end brands as well.
Experienced cracked fins, poor fitting masks on all 4 people in our group, 2 snorkels broke, dump valve broke-rubber rings broke, and mask strap snapped.
Close to beach is a plus but be very picky about the equipment you are given. $25 price is high in general abs especially for the quality of the equipment. 2 blocks back from the beach on commercial is another shop that rents high end equipment and less or same price. I know this as I ended

Just finished my open water certification with Andreas at Deep Blue Divers and could not be more happy with the experience. Andreas is a good teacher who helped me to get the skills down and feel comfortable and safe in the water. David is also very helpful and knowledgeable. I look forward to doing my advanced open water, nitrox, and other courses with deep blue divers. If your in the area and want to get your certification I would highly recommend deep blue divers!

Literally one block away from the best shore diving in the Continental US! The shop is small, but the service and overall experience is top notch. I have a family of three certified divers and two Junior Open Water divers who were out for their very first recreational dive, and this was the first shore dive for all five of us. Had an amazing experience diving with Andres. Brought the whole family down including 2 brand new divers for the discover scuba package. Andres was a great teacher and made everyone feel safe and well cared for. The shore dive was great we saw stingrays, lobster, star fish, and more. Excellent dive shop with all the essentials. The location can't be matched: just a short walk to the beach, and great reefs a shirt distance offshore. This area is perfect for local diving. The staff are very knowledgeable and make the shop feel like your new dive home. Definitely recommend for getting your diver's certifications or any other diving trips you wish to venture on!

Rented snorkel gear for my family. Chose Deep Blue after reviewing prices on their website online, showing $15 to rent snorkel gear. When we arrived, we were told that it would be $25. I showed David the pricing displayed on their site and asked if they would honor that, or at least meet us in the middle, so he called the owner who promptly denied any concessions for their misrepresentation. We were in a bind with plans so we reluctantly rented anyway. One of our snorkel sets was junk; cheap and worn. My wife had to tie the strap because it kept slipping. I showed this to them when returning

Thanks Andres, for an amazing 1st time diving experience. My 15 year old daughter and I always wanted to try scuba, and the discover scuba diving class was perfect for us. The price includes all the equipment - mask, tank flippers and wet suit. After some preparation and training at the shop, we walked a block to the ocean where we practiced in the shallow water. From there, it was a fantastic 52 minutes under water! There was just one other father/daughter diving with us, and we all had a blast. Andres is a masterful instructor and guide.

TOP NOTCH DIVE SHOP!!! My dive buddy and I were in town for the day on December 10th and needed to rent a couple things for our reef dive there in Lauderdale by the Sea. David was working the shop that day and was very helpful and patient with our questions. It was a slow day so he was hoping to close up early but said he would wait till we were done with our dive. Since I'm a novice diver and salt water is new to me I got to see some marine life I'd never seen before while diving. Beautiful and can't wait to go back !

Friendly staff very helpful to novice divers from out of town. Paula was very helpful in finding us the right dive to suit our skill level. We had a great day out on American Dream. Our trip was a wreck and a reef dive. Will definitely use Deep Blue Divers when we visit Lauderdale-By-The-Sea in the future.

Great little dive shop near the beach. Andres and his crew were so nice and helpful! My son and I came down from Atlanta to get his certification dives in for his Jr. Open water. Andres was so patient with him and taught him some good tips. The dives were great and we'll definitely be back next Bug Fest season to go catch some lobsters! I highly recommend Deep Blue Divers to anyone that wants to have a good experience.

I happened to be parking by commercial beach to go free diving with a buddy, when I saw one of the shop workers walking back to the shop with his dive gear on before the store opens. At the time I was recently scuba certified but had yet to purchase my gear, after they walked open and opened up the shop I went over and inquired about renting scuba gear, the shop worker, ( I can't recall the name) was very helpful in grabbing us gear and setting us up to go, even though the store was very busy and the phone was ringing off the hook that morning. The gear we rented was at an okay price ~60.

We booked with them directly. They're also associated with some hotels.
In fact, their boat was waiting us at one of the hotels. We're supposed to
leave at noon, and the boat was late. Then they collected payment one by
one on the boat before leaving. By the time we heading out, it was 2p.m.!!
When they collected payments, they automatically added 20% tip to the charges.
I have no idea how they could do that with such a lousy service. No time sense,
and then we run out of time on the sea before it got dark.

I went to Deep Blue Divers with my Dad and brother for a manly outing to get scuba certified. Our dive master, Chris, was extremely knowledgeable and helped us get fully certified within the 3 days we were staying there. Chris worked over time for us to do so and was willing to take us until 10pm to finish our written work (even when we didn't want to do it hah). I have to say he is dedicated to his job and is thoroughly passionate about what he does, and it shows in the work. The only downside to DBD is that the cost of gear was pretty expensive. Goggles and Fins cost me over 200. The course
