At the Swift Creek Eye Center, Dr. Rebecca Kiraly-Qualls and Dr. Cindy McGarry have been serving the Midlothian, Moseley and Chesterfield communities for over 30 years. Dr. Qualls and Dr. McGarry are extensively involved in community service as well as active members of the American Optometric Association, the Richmond Optometric Association, and two national, invitation-only, optometric groups called the Society of Contact Lens Specialists and the American Society of Eyecare Specialists.

Dr. Rebecca Kiraly-Qualls is an alumnus of University of Richmond and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. In 1988, she opened the Swift Creek Eye Center, and for over 30 years, she has lived in the community that she has served. Her husband, Lowell Qualls, is a local pastor and her two sons, Ryan and Daniel, graduated from Cosby High School.

Rudest office staff I have ever experienced. I am a first time patient there. I arrive at 9:10am, appt at 9:15am. Staff with an obvious attitude tell me they can't verify my insurance. So they have me sit in their lobby to call and verify my policy info. Ten minutes later, I verify my policy number and info. As I bring the info back to the front desk, I am confronted again with an attitude asking what my insurance is. I tell them, but then they proceed to tell me that they are headed into their next appointments and that I missed my appointment. I missed my appointment? Because they were too incompetent

Swift Creek Eye Center doctors, opticians and staff are top notch. Thorough exams are efficient, but not rushed. Great family care over the years - 20 years! There is never hesitation to recommend a second opinion for concerns. The counter staff are efficient and the opticians are fun and assist me to stay in my budget. You all are the best! Always great personal service and experience at Swift Creek Eye Center. Dr. Qualls has been better than excellent throughout the many years I have been her patient, and has become a great friend as well. Additionally, the staff has always been excellent for all of my eye care needs. I highly and sincerely recommend Swift Creek Eye Center for the entire families overall eye care.

First time here. Left prior optometrist due to not being able to be seen for another 2 months after indicating I was having issues. Called on a Thursday, appointment was made for the next Tuesday. New patient paperwork was sent in advance. I don't have a printer at home but arrived early to complete. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and welcoming. Dr McGarry was VERY THOROUGH and addressed all of my concerns. The staff was friendly and provided reimbursement paperwork to send to my insurance carrier, as they didn't take my insurance.

Professionalism and commitment to customer service still dominate and govern all your decision processes on behalf of the patient as you truly seek to deliver what is BEST for the patient despite challenges of changing times with Covid regulations. Dr. Cindy takes time to evaluate medical history, changes, and any concerns each time. She is patient and never rushes through the eye exam; always allows time for me to focus and choose what looks best. The extra bonus is the variety of frames and fashion forward looks in the optical shop. Tammy R. is so very experienced in fitting the frames, marking the lenses, and making certain I’m absolutely pleased with my selection, and most importantly that I can see clearly! I’ve been a faithful patient & fan since 2004. Highly recommend this provider!!
