The doctor is very nice. I chose her because of her credentials, but she botched my Botox which led to a drooping eyelid. She was unable to see me because her receptionist said she was fully booked and she was leaving for vacation the next day. I was offered a cancellation spot but I had another appointment I couldn't miss. I will not be going back

Reference: My experience with Dr. Denise Garcia at Desert Eyesthetics in Gilbert,AZ .......Many years ago I was diagnosed with having the worst case of dry eyes and lately they were getting even worse; eye drops had been my only option, so now, I thought it was time to see another Ophthalmologist; hoping there was some new treatment to help me......Well, I am so VERY glad I did....Not only did Dr. Garcia put plugs in my eyes and that really treated the dryness (I hardly use eyedrops anymore) but she identified another huge problem that I was dealing with that I almost missed mentioning because

Came here for my first Halo treatment about 6 months ago. Denise was the doctor who did my laser procedure and she is absolutely amazing. She wanted to ensure I was satisfied with the treatment and results. We kept in contact almost everyday post treatment for a couple weeks to make sure my skin was healing properly. I couldn't have been more happy with the results from this procedure. It shrunk my pore size significantly and helped with acne scarring and overall skin texture. Not to mention my collagen improved over time. I am so grateful that I can finally feel confident without makeup.

I was referred to Desert Eyesthetics by my general eye center. They called to set up the appointment for me. Initially I was told at the time of the first call that they didn't take my version of Medicare.
But the appointment was scheduled and I received a call from DE, saying that they took my version of Medicare. They asked for both my Medicare card and my Humana PPO, which I have used at the Mayo Clinic, for a specialist who is a Dermatologist. I have a very serious skin disease which is similar to having a severe sunburn, that does not heal, so my chronic pain is 24/7.

This office came recommended by Dr Akers office and I am so glad I followed that recommendation! The office space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The office staff is helpful and kind. They answer questions happily over the phone and promptly return calls!
Rose, the technician/assistant was very personable and helpful!
Dr Garcia was prompt in seeing me and took extra time to explain what was happening with my eye. Dr Garcia wasn't prescription prescribing happy and I was thrilled when she recommended 2 over-the-counter solutions that are working wonders!

I had the opportunity to have a Halo laser and BBL treatment completed by Dr. Garcia. What an amazing result and experience. Each member of Dr. Garcia's staff is knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. Dr. Garcia was fantastic! As a referring optometrist I have sent many happy patients to her over the years. When I developed a non-resolving stye myself I naturally called her for help. She performed a minor procedure to eliminate the stye and I was back to normal in a few days. She and her staff were friendly, professional, knowledge, and caring! Thank you Desert Eyesthetics!

I was extremely satisfied with my visit to Desert Eyesthetics! I had a little issue with my eye and needed help ASAP. Unbelievably, they got me in the next day and took care of my problem. The staff was extremely nice and hospitable and Dr Garcia was great! She took time to diagnose my problem and spent ample time answering my questions. You just don't find this excellent service in the medical field these days and it was a pleasant suprise. I would not hesitate to send my friends or family to go see Dr Garcia!
