DO NOT come to this place. I brought in ATV and The owner made it worse it's leaking gas all over the place and doesn't run. I told him I'm not paying until he fixes it. Owner said, it's a piece of sh*t and don't want to put more time in it. Then owner started to further curse in front of my two young kids and said "GO BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY WE DONT WANT YOUR KIND HERE."
The owner is racist and I would not recommend you come here.

Got my bike (Honda) here a few times for repairs and maintenance. The owner, Brian, us kind, professional and honest. It's a local business, and if you live in Davis, you can walk 5 minutes to downtown, eat during and work at a cafe while your bike is being made. That and the prices make me choose it over a Sacramento dealership.

Brought my R6 in for spark plug and air filter change. The shop was extremely busy, but they nonetheless did the work quickly, in order to accommodate me (I don't own a car, so moto is only transportation).
Labor cost was more than fair, and they didn't try to add on unnecessary services (in fact, because my coolant fluid was clean, they didn't flush it even though I had said I'd be willing to have it done). They also gave me a tank and triple tree bolt, for free.
Highly recommend DMS. It's awesome to have a local shop with competent, good guys.

Review for 2918 Triumph Thruxton R. Brian was great. He was able to squeeze me in for a tire change, in the bike. Service was fast especially for a tuned tire, which I needed because I was headed out to Berryessa and Napa right after picking up my bike. Super honest and chill. Will go back for sure. Oh, and cost was super reasonable. Charged me less than quoted.

First let me say that in a business like this not everything is always going to go smoothly, but the real test of a dealerships honesty is how they make those errors right with the customer.
The bike they sold me ended up having a few problems with the carb that they were not aware of. I can't blame them for this because it wasn't noticeable until about 45mph. I didn't notice during the test ride either. I ended up having to call them from the side of the road saying there

Solid place. I am someone who is always cautious when it comes to mechanics, because I have heard and experienced horror stories, but I would definitely recommend Davis Motorsports, because of Brian. I trust Brian and he is more than fair with price and will work with you if you're in a pickle. He's tightened chains for about $40 and this one time my shifter shaft came off while I was riding, because the bolt came out. They were on their way for lunch when I was heading in, but he stopped what he was doing to grab a bolt from one of his own bikes and put it in for about $40 total for

Unbelievable find right off the freeway!! I just happened to search for a Motorsports shop while on my way home from work. Needed a replacement float needle for a carb rebuild I want to finish at home. I called first and they were more than happy to help me out. Before I even walked in the door he had his float selection ready for me. Solid handshake and genuinely happy to help me out with the float I needed BOOYAH!! For free!! I was out the door in one minute flat. Definitely on my radar now and will be my first source for future parts. Thanks.

These guys are the best, they actually care about what happens after you purchase the motorcycle or any other product they have available. They back their work and make sure that any purchase you make, your going to be happy with. Buying my motorcycle didn't feel like I was going to a dealership where they just wanted to sell me something and get me out of there. These guys want to make sure that you're happy with your purchase. Brian was awesome. If you don't want to just buy a bike and you want to buy THE bike! These guys know their s**t.

Although yeah, maybe their prices are better, but if the owner says 80 bucks, and the staff says they've never heard of an 80 dollar service before when I dropped it off, then the owner calls and ups the price to 115 after you've already dropped off your bike, just doesn't seem right. If you've done business for 21 years, you should know your basic price points. Specially since the staff was shocked to hear the owner made that estimate. So if you call, expect a lower price point over the phone than what you get in person. I even asked for a few bucks off just for the inconvenience

Took my quad to Brian and needed it back quickly and he worked on it and fixed it as promised
Purchased another quad from him while I was there dropping off my older one. Good deal and great follow thru
I only use this shop and live in Sloughhouse Ca and it is a long way from my house but I trust them.
I don't recommend many people but these guys are good old boys and do a good job for a fair price

When I bought my '94 BMW R1100rs in August, it had a right side head gasket leak. I had that fixed, but a month later the left side started leaking. On the service records it was indicated that some other shop in the Bay Area had fixed the left side previously, about 50k miles ago. I took it to Davis Motorsports where it was very promptly looked at. They were very reasonable about pricing and telling me exactly what was going on with my bike. They fixed the leak, (and were very accommodating with my ridiculous work schedule). It took them shorter than the

Had my used 06 Gsxr 600 inspected here by Brian before purchase from Craigslist. Great place that made me feel very welcoming. Thought the bike was in good condition but they spotted many problem. I was glad to have it checked out here. They were very nice and told what needed, what can wait. They didn't pressured me into fixing anything there. Definitely bringing my bike back for any issues and maintenance.. Also looking forward to their future expansion with riding gears.

Davis Motorsports represents the vibe of Davis with its independent, mom & pop atmosphere. I only recently bought a motorcycle and I brought it into Davis motorsports for some new tires. I rode my bike there for a quick quote and the owner took time to do a quick inspection of my bike free of charge. He noted other small problems with the bike and recommended what needed to be done in order of importance.

I recently had my '04 YFZ450 at the shop for a complete top end rebuild and came out completely satisfied! Brian was sure to call me with many updates as they uncovered what actually needed to be replaced. He also gave recommendations of what else needed to be fixed but in no way was pushy, just helpful. The work that they put out is top notch and they will get all my business in the future! Thanks again for getting my quad back up and running!
