Authentic living begins with truly exploring, understanding, and embracing yourself. Next comes presenting your authentic self to others, and navigating barriers that may try to keep you from doing this. Finally, you then pursue work, leisure, and relationships that embrace your true self. Do any of the concerns revolve around freedom to explore who you really are?

If so, I can help you navigate this journey. Let's explore your visible and invisible identities to help you understand who you are and what you need for fulfillment. Let me help you better connect to yourself and find your community. Congratulations on starting the process towards better health and a better quality of life!
Services
In my counseling work I start with a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral and multicultural framework. I strive to help clients feel heard and empowered to find the right path that works for them specifically. As your therapist, I will be by your side on this journey to self-discovery. I will ask questions to help you see things in a new light.
I am a certified QPR Gatekeeper trainer. QPR stands for Question Persuade Refer and provides information on what to do if you are concerned that someone you know may be having thoughts of suicide. How to engage someone you are worried about in a way that is most likely going to have a positive outcome.
The call center operates 24/7 and has the capacity to screen and assess callers for intensity of service response. Emergencies: Individuals determined to be in immediate danger are "warm transferred" to the local 911 service in the area where the consumer is located. Call center staff do not leave the call until they have confirmation that 911 responders are on site with the caller.
In individual counseling, you and I will meet one on one to talk through the concerns impacting you. There are several options for these one on one meetings. We can meet in person in my office, conduct our sessions via Videoconferencing online, hold the session over the phone, or we can do a "Walk and Talk" session.
In my couple's work, I focus on preventative skills building to help couples learn healthy relationship patterns that can help prevent larger difficulties from developing in their relationship. This can be a part of premarital counseling, or for couples who are established but noticing relationship patterns that are not working for them.
