Amazinnnng wood oven pizza! Plenty of flavor and spices (not just plain sauce and cheese) and crust was exceptional. Gelato was so creamy and delicious too. Staff was super quick and friendly! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for artisan style pizza.

I really love the food here, I just wish I could get it. The past few times I've called for pickup, I've been told that they are no longer taking takeout orders. Twice was an hour before closing and another was half an hour before. I understand needing to prioritize orders, but set expectations - if you stop taking takeout orders an hour before closing, state that somewhere on your website or menu. I would love to keep supporting a small business that makes great food, but at this point, I'd have to schedule my life around it,and that's just not reasonable.

Definitely our favorite pizza place! Nothing beats the wood fired pizza and they have a great dough and sauce. They also opened a little market shop as well. We often order for pickup. Just make sure to call early on a Friday night!

La Pizzeria Metro is the best Artisanal Pizza Place in northern Delaware. Everything they make is made in a brick oven and it's all delicious. Being next door to one of the best breweries in Delaware doesn't hurt either. A couple of notes.
1. Because they only have the one oven they can get backed up quickly. I highly recommend you order an hour ahead.
2. Because they are Artisanal the pizza only comes in one size (I believe it's a 12 inch).
3. If you haven't tried them you owe it to yourself too try their brick oven baked garlic hot honey wings. They are fantastic!

I loved it!!! The pizza was amazing and the drinks were to die for literally! Server was great and swift. Atmosphere was both welcoming and comfortable.

My wife and I recently moved to North Wilmington. We were desperately trying to find a good pizza place. We found a great pizza place that offers so much more. Love the outstanding rotating specials ( both food and bar) as well as the game day specials for Sunday football. As long as I live in the area, they will have our business. Elite.

The ambience is really nice, it’s a huge restaurant, hip!
I had the wood fire margherita pizza with smoked pork belly. Also cast iron chicken wings. Both entries delicious! My first pizza in Delaware and it’s a 5 starts for me. I do recommend it.

First time there and we'll definitely be returning. Everything we orders was delicious and the variety of Pizza they offer is outstanding!

Our group stopped in for a late Sunday dinner. Our waitress Egypt was very sweet and accommodating. We had nachos, wings, meatballs, pizza, pasta & calzone. Everyone of them delicious (we shared). Mojitos we’re good but my Lemon Drop was the envy of the table. We always enjoy Metro and this is the reason why. Never disappointed!

My sister Laura took us here last night, we were visiting from Colorado. The food was so delicious and our server Dehlia was so sweet. We had the asparagus special, the meatballs and the wings ! Everything was so delicious!!! True homemade Italian and the sauce was delicious, tasted like our Nonna’s. We will definitely come back whenever we come to visit my sister. We loved the food , the atmosphere and the service!!! Mangia.

Love the experience I had waitress was nice and the pizza was awesome loved it . I recommend this spot for a fast casual meal or lunch .

We have always really enjoyed the pizza here, they are fantastic. I have to say though, the service hasn't been great, and you can expect it to be slow. It seems like it's getting worse. Our last pizza came out after 50 mins, we were promised it would take 30. They forgot some of the toppings and didn't cut the pizza, so on top of it, we had to go back. If they could fix the service and delay issues, it would be great.

Atmosphere is great, food was spot on. Aroma was just as you would expect from a really good Italian eatery. Definitely going to try some other menu items!! Nona Square was really good, just a little cheese slide from transport. The cheese with mini pepperoni hit the spot.
