Perfect European style hotel with a canteen style cafe, clean rooms, and easy non-contact check-in. We need many, many more of these hotels in high demand areas. Small places in the neighborhood probably aren't permitted in most of America. There are stairs however, so this place isn't quite for everybody. Loving it rn.

Pretty little hotel. The corridors smell a tad weird. Awesome value for money. Awesome breakfast. Awesome little real plants in the hotel room, add more please :) Cute water bottle. Unlimited tea, coffee, OJ. Couldn't get the baked goodies because we went late in the morning. Eat breakfast in the outdoor seating area. Organic co-op right behind. Perfect for a quick stopover from UP :)

What it has: firm mattresses and soft pillows, lots of towels, big windows to let in light and fresh air if you want, whisper quiet air conditioning, super cleanliness, borrow bikes, easy street parking, access to bus line, easy check in, responsive operator, and choice of exceptional breakfast pastries and coffee or made to order breakfast items (for cost) in an open to the outdoors setting, and walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as a small beach for your kids and lovely lakeside parks for that morning stroll. What it doesn't have: elevators, fitness club, loud noise, hotel feel

Thoroughly enjoyed a three night stay in the heart of the Marquette Neighborhood. Close to Williamson St, the Co-op and all that the neighborhood offers. The room was quite comfortable and quiet, parking was easy and so was the electronic check in process. Free coffee and fresh baked pastries in the morning were a treat. A good value and a nice break from the corporate hotels. We’ll be back on our next visit to Madison.

My friend and I stayed here for one night and I can't speak more highly of our stay. I am so impressed with everything about this place - I wish there were more places like this! The self check in worked so well! We had a code to get us in the front door and to our room so we didn't have to worry about keys. Everything was spotless and we appreciated the mini fridge. We didn't use the tv however it's great that it is a smart tv.
The Willy Street area is so cool and it was so fun to visit again after not being back for several years after college. I love that the hosts are attentive

I truly can't say enough good things about the Madison Marquette. We had some special requests and James and his team were absolutely accommodating for our party. This is a great place to stay if you're visiting Madison and want to be in one of the best neighborhoods and see everything the city has to offer. We highly, highly recommend the Madison Marquette!

We came into town for one night to see a show not far from the hotel. The hotel is situated in the middle of the block and looks cozy and trim in front. They do not have a front desk so one code for front door and the room was very easy to use. I've never stayed anywhere that had laminated floor but after a moment I realized how clean it could be kept over carpeting (a little slippery in your socks though!). A big downside about no front desk is that if you do not remember to request extra towels and such while booking, you are out of luck in that area and trust me, these are very thin and

Brand new when we stayed for a couple nights September 2018 and well worth it. Easy door system, clean rooms, friendly owner, good connectivity/tv. You can slightly hear other guests in your room but no more than any large hotel. The fixtures are a little on the bargain side, but I'm sure will be replaced when age begins to show. Definitely better than other more expensive chain hotels outside of downtown.
