This place is horrible and they deleted my review some how , applying was so bad and the office ladies extremely unprofessional and rude. You will never get calls back and even when you have proof of everything they will still ask you for more and make up excuses. They clearly just want to rent to who ever worst place ever stay away

I do not recommend living in Shelter Cove Apartments. The new management is horrible, they don't care about their tenants, they just want to collect their money and not fix anything. My AC went out on Sunday, mid day, and I had to call the emergency number three times before the manager called me back. She said she couldn't send nobody out until Monday, mind you the temperature in this apartment was Almost 90°. She still didn't care so I gave her a piece of my mind. they still have not fixed my AC I'm still waiting for someone to come. The new management is horrible I have

Use to be a nice place until Buckingham properties took over. Manager hides in office and locks door even though supposed to be open during the limited office hours they do have. It was horrible just trying to hand my rent check over when I can hear her in there but will not open the door and their lockbox is not working since the breaking. Multiple people's rent checks were stolen from their secured lockbox then cashed And they made everyone re-pay their rent twice which I'm pretty sure that's 100% illegal since those were in their secured lockbox. Manager constantly closes the amenities such

I've lived here for 4 almost 5 years, and it was ok at first. It went down hill until they hired Mike, he actually tried to make this a good place to live. Now it seems he is gone and it has already started going to hell. Piles of trash in and around the dumpsters, around the complex, at people's doors for days at a time. I am starting to see a lot more cockroaches due to all the trash as well. The parking situation is a joke, cars sit for weeks at a time, people who don't live here are taking spot that resident pay for. The price of the rent compared to what you get is not

Lived here for about 7 years, part in a town house and part in one of the smaller apartments. Area surrounding it is a little questionable at times, but overall its a nice place. Plenty of shade in the summer and they take care of the grounds. Older apartments that need fixing from time to time, but current management does their best to make sure things are taken care of asap. The pool is nice during the summer and while the gym doesn't have much to it compared to a larger facility, its nice for a quick workout and being right next to the pool you can get a pretty varied regiment if you're willing

I've lived here for 3 years and have never had any issues. The couple of time something needed to get fixed it was good to go after a day or 2.

My wife and I have lived at Shelter Cove since 2012. We enjoy the well-conceived floor plan, in-house washer and dryer, mature shade trees, well kept plantings, friendly neighbors, and attentive, personable management.
We're grateful to live here!

Two weeks prior to our move out the roof started leaking in the middle of the night. I called it in and we left the townhouse because we had a newborn baby. They didn’t fix it, leaving us without AC in the summer. Not only that but they charged us a $140 “ light cleaning fee” with no description of what was cleaned. This fee was charged after we were told that we left the apartment spotless. I called to ask about the fee and they never returned my call. I cleaned everything possible, baseboards, walls, shelves, cabinets, dishwasher, moved the refrigerator, window tracks. I cleaned every inch

I am a teacher who rented an apartment here this year. I have to say, it was a very nice stay through out the year, and my fellow neighboors were very kind.

At the end of my tenancy I had some issues with giving notice of moving out, yet the management there was so kind and understanding they helped me through it. I didn't expect this, but they did it. I would therefore recommend their apartment and property management to anyone! Thank you Shelter Cove!

Me and my fiance were looking at their town houses. Apparently the current landlord isn't a fan of mixed couples. She was super friendly and upbeat with me, but when my fiance the main provider who also has perfect renters credit came in, her attitude changed. She decided we weren't a fit for her town house bkz of his credit...which makes no sense since we're currently in an apt and our current landlord always raves about what good tenants we are, and our perfect renters credit. It worked out in our favor within a week we got approved for our house. But the attitude we delt with

The apartment complex manager is never there and the voicemail is always full. Who hired her? Don't expect to get anything urgent done. People park in the parking lot that don't have parking passes all the time especially on Saturday. The maintenance guy is cool though he deserves a raise.

Do not live here. Management is unhelpful and rude. The maintenance guy is cool though and is the only one who goes out of his way. The landlord is hardly ever there and has no clue of what's going on. Get papers and checks mixed up as well. They need a new manager. You have been WARNED.

The place is great besides working with the landlord. She has the worst attitude. Anytime we called to ask her a question or anything of the kind it seemed as if we were ALWAYS BUGGING HER. She talks over you and literally has so much attitude. I liked the place the workers were great and the company wasn't too bad either but the management was awful.

The apartment was very nice. You get a lot for the amount they charge for rent. The gym space doesn't have a lot to it, and I never went in the pool. For the most part, they were good about getting work orders done and the manger cashed rent checks very quickly so you didn't have a rent check coming out 3 weeks into the month. My only issue was that the manger was rude. She was never in the office, was not good at communicating with you, and she would get upset with you over things you had no control over.
